Chapter 40

A few days have passed. Jiya and han got married but she still lives with her family most of the time as her mother in law isn’t happy with the marriage. About taehyung he is enjoying his life as usual- getting spolied by jeon jungkook.

Today jungkook is going to japan for his 4 days of schedule. So he has Called taehyung in his house. He just wants the boy to be around him before he leaves for 4 days.

As he is packing his luggage, taehyung is sitting on the bed and watching tv while eating chips and cold drinks.

“Sir Don’t forget to buy japanese snacks for me.” taehyung says for 100th time since he has arrived.

“Yeah yeah i remember.” jungkook says. He wanted to take Taehyung with him too but the boy still doesn’t have any passport visa and his father will never allow him to go.

“Ggukie? Ggukie?” a voice comes from outside the room and taehyung immediately hides the bowl of chips and cold drinks under a blanket.

“Here comes the only pain of my life.” taehyung murmurs seeing jungkook’s mother coming inside the room.

“Look.. Instead of helping my son, you are lying down and watching tv like a king. Why can’t you help my son, huh?” mrs jeon speaks seeing taehyung on the bed.

“I’m deaf. I can’t hear. I’m sorry anty.” taehyung says and changes the tv channel to a music channel.

Mrs jeon glares at taehyung for a few seconds. Then she looks at her son. “Are you ready? Do you need help, son? Your father and i are ready.” she says. She and her husband are going with jungkook too.

“I’m done with packing. I’ll just change my clothes and leave.” the idol says.

Mrs jeon again looks at taehyung. “Come down with me.” she says.

“Why?” taehyung asks without looking at her.

“There are left over foods on the kitchen. You need to put them in boxes and keep them inside the fridge.” she says says.

“Why anty? You can’t do this simple task even though you are 50 years old?” taehyung grins widely.

Mrs jeon again glares at the boy. “You need to learn house chores. Come down and do that.” she says.

“I’ll charge 10 dollars for it. Last week I bought a year of Netflix subscription to watch chinese dramas and i ran out of money. My account is almost empty.” taehyung says.

Hearing this mrs jeon’s eyes look like fire is about to come out of them and burn taehyung. “I’ll complain to your father that you are asking money from me.” she says.

“I’ll also complain to my father that a stranger anty asked me to be their house maid.” saying taehyung again looks at the tv.

This time Mrs jeon turns her head to her son who is searching something inside his closet pretending not to hear anything. Then he silently enters inside the bathroom.

“Taehyung?” mrs jeon calls again, trying to calm down her irritation.

“Yes anty?”

“Come down and do what i ask. You need to learn all these to become a good housewife.” she says with a very calm voice.

“Ugg okay but I’m still charging from your son.” saying taehyung pulls out the bowls of chips and cold drink from under the blanket and gets down from the bed. Then he leaves downstairs with mrs jeon.

Today taehyung and mrs jeon both cooked together as mrs jeon was teaching taehyung to make some dishes that jungkook likes. After they had lunch some foods are still left.

Taehyung finds some plastic boxes and transfers the foods there from the pots and puts all the box inside the fridge.

In the mean time jungkook comes downstairs with his luggage and backpack.

“Oh sir I’ll be so sad without you.” taehyung says as soon as he sees the idol.

“So my baby will miss me?” jungkook asks, putting his both hands around taehyung’s waist and the boy nods.

“I’ll miss my baby too. I’m leaving my driver for you okay? Instead of going somewhere alone, just use my car. And Don’t talk with any strangers who ask you your name or give you number okay?” jungkook says, now caressing Taehyung’s hair with his left hand.

Taehyung again nods his head, leaning onto jungkook’s touch. It feels good to him.

“and I’ll send money to your account okay? Buy whatever you need. But Don’t stay outside after 8 pm, specially not with any boys okay?”

Taehyung again nods.

“Then Let’s go.. My flight is in two hours.” jungkook says.

Taehyung goes with them to the airport but since he Isn’t travelling he can’t go inside.

“I’m leaving, baby. Be safe okay?” the idol says again caressing Taehyung’s head. He just wants to press a light kiss on taehyung’s forehead but he feels shy since his parents are here too. So he doesn’t.

“Okay sir, have a nice trip. And please Don’t forget my snacks.” taehyung says smiling.

“Okay babe. Bye. The driver will drop you at your house.” saying jungkook gets down from the car. Since It’s public area and some mass people are here to see him, taehyung shouldn’t come out of the car. So after jungkook and his parents come out, the driver drives away with taehyung.

Next day,

The first schedule of Jungkook is basically the celvin klein japan event and jungkook as their brand Ambassador needs to be present there. After that he has some japanese shows to attend too.

As jungkook is ready and about to leave for the show, he dials taehyung’s number. At first taehyung doesn’t pick up but then he calls again. This time taehyung receives the call when the call is about to be disconnected.

“Yo sir what’s up!” taehyung speaks.

“Why are you not receiving the call?” jungkook asks.

“Yahh sir we talked just 30 minutes ago. I was in the bathroom. Told you I ate 10 deep fried dumplings yesterday and got acidity.” taehyung says rubbing his stomach.

“Turn on the video call.” the idol says while turning on his own video call option. Soon taehyung does the same.

“Omo sir is this your new outfit?” taehyung asks seeing jungkook wearing new outfits and some makeup.

“Yeah. Baby how do i look?” the idol asks showing taehyung his whole body through the camera.

“Sir see, I’m someone who gives honest reviews. The outfit sucks. I even rejected the same kind of denim jacket and pant in the local market which were in sell for 2 dollars only. But you Don’t look as old as my father with this outfit. You look younger and handsome, sir!” taehyung says smiling big.

Jungkook clears his throat hearing this. “I designed those outfits but okay. Also thank you baby.” he says accepting the positive part of taehyung’s honest review.

“Okay sir, best of luck for your event.” taehyung says showing a thumbs up to the idol.

“Okay babe. I’ll leave now. Call you later okay?” jungkook says and taehyung nods. Then the idol hangs up.

In the event jungkook is present there with his parents. There are hundreds of press and cameras flashing around him and he has to give poses, talk about the new celvin klein project. There are celebrities too who were invited in the show but the thing is no one is as famous and big as him. Those celebrities are locally known to only korea or japan. And the truth is no one in the asia is as big and famous as him worldwide.

On the other hand taehyung is lazily lying down on the couch and scrolling his phone to see the new photos and videos of jungkook’s event. He needs a good photo so he can edit and post it on his Twitter.

Also he suddenly finds out jungkook has a habit of subtly pouting his lips when he takes photos. Taehyung grins big thinking to tease the idol later about pouting like girls.

“YAH TAEHYUNGAHHH?” suddenly he hears jiya calling him loudly.

“WHAT?” He answers back loudly too, even though both siblings are sitting only few metres away from each other.

“Oh you are here, i forgot..” jiya says while cutting some vegetables.

“What do you want?” taehyung asks, while editing one of jungkook’s new photos and turning the idol to a local south asian serpent.

“We ran out of chillies. Go buy some chillies, ginger and radish spinach.” she says.

“Ugg I’m doing something important. Call your husband.” taehyung says.

“He is in his shop right now. How can he come? You go. Appa wanted to eat cabbage kimchi and radish curry today.”

Hearing this Taehyung throws his phone on the couch and gets up to get money from his mother. Then he leaves for the local market to buy the vegetables.

In the market taehyung spends 30 minutes while bargaining with the seller about the prices. He personally thinks jungkook’s mother will be impressed immediately seeing how expert he is at bargaining.

After taehyung buys the things he needed, he decids to buy some ice creams for Himself so he can walk to home while eating the it.

As he buys his desired ice cream and walks to home, his phone rings again showing jungkook’s name on display. He immediately smiles and receives the video call.

“Baby where are you?” jungkook asks seeing taehyung outside.

“I Went to the market to buy vegetables.” taehyung says showing the bag of the vegetables.

“Why didn’t you call the driver?” jungkook frowns.

“It takes only 10 minutes to go to the market. I Don’t need your driver sir.” saying taehyung laughs. “Are you inside any car sir? Is your event over?” he asks.

“It’s not over but i left early. I Don’t need to stay there the whole time. Now I’m going back to the hotel. Eomma, appa are with me too.” saying the idol turns his phone to his parents.

“YO AUNTY LOOK I BOUGHT THESE 1 KILO OF RADISH WITH ONLY 30 CENTS. THEY WANTED 60 CENTS.” Taehyung says to jungkook’s mother loudly, showing some middle sized radishes.

Mrs jeon looks at the phone screen where taehyung is smiling with excitement. “For the first time i see you doing something right.” she says.

“I always do things right. But you live in busan. You can’t see what i do in seoul.” taehyung answers.

“Okay babe I’m hanging up now. My manager is calling me. I’ll call you when i reach the hotel.” the idol says.

“Okie sir.” taehyung says before the idol hangs up.

Taehyung is again lying down lazily on the floor while eating some grapes and scrolling on his phone. He has posted some of his photos on Facebook recently and is now checking the comments. When he refreshes his timeline some new photos of jungkook comes up.

He frowns confusedly since these new photos which aren’t official photos. He checks the photos properly which looks like someone has leaked some cctv footages. In the photos, some people can be seen inside a decorated hall room which looks like any kind of party hall. Taehyung can see jungkook, his parents and the manager. There is a girl wearing a blue short dress standing beside jungkook and some other people. From the outfits that jungkook is wearing taehyung can tell these leaks are from after the celvin klein event as jungkook has the same outfit as he had in the event.

“He had a party to attend?” taehyung murmurs to Himself as the idol didn’t mention about any party to him. It looks like Someone has leaked photos from the party secretly.

Taehyung scrolls more to see more photos but then suddenly his finger tip stops noticing one specific photo. He frowns deeply and clicks on that photo. And his heart instantly skips a beat and he feels a sudden strong sting in his heart.

In that photo jungkook is standing beside his parents and the girl who is wearing a blue short dress, hugging the idol from the back. She has her both hands wrapped around jungkook’s waist and her chin on the idol’s left shoulder.

Taehyung drops the phone on the ground and scratches his neck slightly. He is suddenly feeling weird inside his chest, his body is feeling cold suddenly.

Then he picks up his phone again and swips left. Some more photos shows up where in couple of the photos the girl and jungkook standing side by side and in couple of other photos the girl is hugging the idol from behind.

As taehyung stares at these photos silently, the sharp sting feeling inside his chest increases, making him feel so uncomfortable that his face begins turning pale. After a minute or half taehyung’s lips slowly forms in a pout and a drop of tear land on his phone screen.

In the other hand jungkook comes out of the bathroom after a very long shower. He was feeling tired and needed a cold bath to feel refreshment. While he dries his hair with a towel he picks up his phone thinking to call taehyung. But as he turns on the phone screen, he sees a notification of taehyung texting him. He directly taps on the notification which takes him to the chat of him and taehyung on the kakaotalk app.

Taehyung has sent him a photo- where a girl in blue dress is hugging him from his back. He understands the photo is from the after party of the celvin klein event that happened earlier. And there’s a text with the photo saying “congratulations sir that you have finally found your new girlfriend.”

Jungkook frowns at first and then shakes his head slightly. He taps on his phone to write a text.

‘Baby that’s not my girlfriend. She is my long term close friend. She is clingy always.’ he types it and sends the text to taehyung. But in return the phone screen says “you are not allowed to message this user” in red letters.

” what?” he says to Himself seeing it and again sends the same text. But this time too the same red line appears saying “you are not allowed to message this user”.

” what the fck?” the man curses annoyingly and tries again by sending a different text but the same red line appears for the 3rd time. Then he tries to call taehyung but then he notices the audio and video call options are not working at all.

“Is something wrong with my account?” he speaks to himself and checks his chats with others. But no, other chats are working perfectly. Only taehyung’s chat is not working. So he tries to send another message but still the red line appears.

And then he notices taehyung’s display picture where he was smiling cutely, not here anymore.

“Did he block me?” the idol speaks to himself thinking why the chat isn’t working and why the display picture can’t be seen suddenly.

Then he calls taehyung directly on his phone number and the call immediately goes voice over saying “this user is busy now.”

“God no please..” he whispers to Himself and hurriedly dials the number again. But it still says “this user is busy now”.

Jungkook stares at taehyung’s contact photo on his phone being speechless. Taehyung really blocked him.
