Chapter 13

Even though taehyung’s life is a complete mess right now, still he is trying to hard to keep his love like untouched from all these. His hubby still doesn’t know about what he did. His father took away his phone but after whole a day he got it back. His bf asked why he couldn’t contact for a day and taehyung said his parents found out about their relationship so his father took away his phone but it Will never stop him from loving his hubby.

He got fired from his job, he is hungry because he hasn’t eaten anything for days. His parents are not talking with him and he has locked himself in his room since they return from the court.

But now taehyung decides to visit jungkook once as he has to talk with jungkook. He has been waiting for his father to leave for his office so he could go to his workplace from where he is kicked out now.

His mother and sister try to stop him but how can he sit at home when his father is nearly in a debt of 10 million dollars? He has learnt that 10 millions of dollars aren’t something his whole ancestors Have seen in their lives. He heared jungkook has total 70 millions dollars. Then why is the idol is being greedy for 10 millions?

Taehyung walks for an hour toward the company instead of taking bus because he doesn’t have any single penny with him.

The building he works is 19 story and jeon jungkook’s office is in 17th floor. His working id card is still with him so he can take lift instead of climbing stares.

When he enters inside 17th floor, all the staffs give him looks as if he was any alien from endromida Galaxy. Taehyung nervously walks toward the room where the manager works. He gets judging eyes from everyone but not like he can do anything. On his way to the manager room, taehyung meets the staff yuna with whom she had the bet. She gives him a really sad look that It’s clear she is feeling bad for taehyung.

“Manager nim!” taehyung calls the manager who is sitting quietly on the couch and scrolling his phone.

Hearing taehyung’s voice, the manager looks at him with frowned eyes. Then the manager makes his eyes bigger. “Did you just call me manager nim? Oh my god suddenly you are so well mannered!” the manager says. Taehyung always calls him manager hyung so compared to that manager nim sounds way too respectful.

“Can i come inside?” taehyung says nervously.

“Oh my god! Suddenly you are so civilised that you are asking for permission to enter? Why are you here by the way?” manager says standing up.

“Manager hyung, jungkook sir fi-”

” you mean your husband? Ha ha”‘ the manager says cutting off taehyung in mid sentence.

Taehyung stares down feeling a little bit shy suddenly hearing the word husband. “Umm… He fired me from my job.” he says.

“Oh my god…suddenly you are so shy hearing jungkook’s name? Just yesterday you were making fun of him in the day light..” another staff speaks which makes taehyung more shy.

“Anyway why are you here?” manager asks.

“Hyung, jungkook sir asked for 10 millions dollar as compensation. But not even my 20 generations have seen this much money. But we need to pay him in three months. You know we are poor. I really need this job. I’ll be really a good boy now and always do all works on time. Please Don’t fire me.” taehyung sobs with broken voice.

The manager feels bad seeing taehyung crying. The boy is always charmful and has a big smile fixed on his lips always. Seeing him suddenly cry makes him feel bad. Also he has hard how jungkook demaned a huge amount of money which is nearly impossible considering taehyung’s family background.

Manager sighs. “Why did you do that taehyung? You really tricked jungkook which is not right. Of course jungkook has all the rights to show his anger.”

“I swear manager hyung, It’s nothing serious. I have my hubby and i love him, i plan to marry him. So i was just checking how marriage things work. I never took anything seriously. It was a childish bet. Nothing else. Jungkook sir is being too heartless right now.” taehyung cries looking down.

“I can’t help you taehyung. Go, ask jungkook. If he agrees, then you can start again.” the manager says.

“But he will beat me if i go near him.”

“He Won’t. Meet him once and talk nicely. Apologise too.”

Taehyung nods slightly and turns around to go to the room where jungkook mostly works. Taehyung sees the idol has a headphone on and murmuring something with closed eyes. Taehyung takes a deep breath. His blood is running cold thinking what does jungkook says.

“Sir?” taehyung calls but the idol does not response.

Taehyung clears his throat loudly and again calls, louder this time. But still no answer. Then taehyung sighs remembering the idol has short hearing and now he is wearing a headphone means he is nearly a deaf.

Taehyung takes a few steps near him and thinks if he should call him loudly. But what if he gets angry. So after thinking a bit he starts poking jungkook’s left shoulder with his right index finger. Even after poking for 5 times still the idol doesn’t response.

“Maybe he is sleeping. What should i do?” taehyung thinks. “Sir?” he calls again while pulling jungkook’s hair slightly.

“Oh my god! Is he dead? Thank god i Won’t have to pay 10 millions.” taehyung says almost squealing in happiness. “Let me give a final check.” saying taehyung looks around and spots jungkook’s shoes and socks which he removed earlier.

With a disgusted face taehyung picks up one sock and holds it near jungkook’s nose, Very closely.
At first the idol sniffs a few times in his sleep and tries to move away from the source of the bad smell. But taehyung almost pushes it to his nose and jungkook jolts wakes up.

“What the hell!” he screams and taehyung immediately removes his hand.

“You are alive!” taehyung mutters under his breath with disappointed voice and face.

Jungkook looks at him with sharp eyes. “What did you say? And why are you even here? I already fired you.” he says.

“Ahh siirrrrrrrrr….” taehyung starts crying out of nowhere makes the idol taken aback. “Sirrrr, please Don’t fire me. I’m poor. My family doesn’t have 10 millions. Please Don’t ask for money from us sir. We are already so much poor. I apologise to you for doing all this. I know you have a big heart. Please Don’t fire me and ask for money.” taehyung speaks while bowing continuously and crying.

“Well, sorry to say i Don’t have any big heart and i demand the money and also you are fired. Leave from here.” jungkook says.

Taehyung stands up properly. “If you want money then please Don’t fire me sir. I need to earn money to pay you back. Please Sir i beg you. My father can’t earn all these money alone. I need to help him.” the boy sobs and sniffs.

“That’s not happening. You are not working in my area.” jungkook strictly says.

But this time taehyung is ready. Without saying anything else he directly bends down and holds jungkook’s legs tightly to beg. “Sir i beg please show some kindness to us!” he says.

“What the hell!” jungkook yells and tries to move away from taehyung. But taehyung is holding his legs too tightly that he ends up falling in the floor with a thud. “Aaaahhhhhhh!” the idol screams.

Taehyung rolls his eyes. “Well Deserved.” because may or may not he did it intentionally. The he suddenly begins crying loudly. “Oh my god sir, are you okay? Please Don’t die. I Don’t want to be a widow this soon.” taehyung says with a panicked voice and tries to check on jungkook who is lying down on the floor and staring at taehyung with burning eyes.

“What did you say?” jungkook asks while glaring.

“I asked are you okay sir? Are you hurt? Why did you move away like this? Look you hurt yourself!” taehyung says with a very NaTuRAl worried voice, bending directly over jungkook’s face.

“HUH! JUNGKOOK YOU SAID IT WAS TAEHYUNG’S PLAN? THEN WHY ARE YOU KISSING HIM SUDDENLY LYING DOWN ON THE FLOOR?” the manager screams standing on the doorway.

Taehyung backs away hearing the sudden voice and stands up. Jungkook also stands uo with an annoyed face.

“We were not kissing!” taehyung says, again getting shy for a reason he does not know.

“You are again getting shy?” the manager speaks with a suspicious face. “Whenever i mention jungkook you are getting shy. What’s the matter taehyung?” he asks.

A red tint appears on taehyung’s cheeks but he stares down without answering. He also doesn’t know why he is getting shy suddenly.

Jungkook notices the red cheeks of taehyung’s and rolls his eyes. “Why is he here?” he asks the manger.

“He was asking for the job. So i have sent him here.” manager speaks.

“He is not getting any job. Ask him to leave.” jungkook says sitting on the previous chair.

Taehyung looks at the manager with teary eyes and wobbly lips.

Manager sighs deeply before speaking. “Let him work jungkook. Maybe he really needs it to pay back your money.”

Taehyung nods his head looking at jungkook. “I swear to your father sir, I’ll always be a good boy and do everything accordingly.”

“Excuse me!” jungkook rises his brows. “Instead of swearing on your father why are you naming my father?” he speaks.

“Ummm… I mean… Umm… You know your father is my father in law now. And father in law equals to my father too.” taehyung speaks whatever comes in his mind.

The manager tries to control his laugh and jungkook continuously glares at taehyung.

“Sir please, give me one chance. My father works as a staff in the government income tax office. He can’t manage all the money sir. He is trying to get loan from the bank and i need to help him too. I can’t only sit and watch my father work alone.” taehyung again begins sniffing.

“Then find work somewhere else. But not here.” jungkook sir.

“Sir i Don’t know any other place. Please let me work. I’ll be good!”

“Hey jungkook, let him work. Don’t be cruel. Taehyung you can start over.” the manager says feeling bad for taehyung. 10 millions are a huge sum.

“Sejin hyung no! He aint working here! God knows he may make us sign the ownership of this building somehow. I can’t Believe him.” jungkook says shaking his head.

“Sir I’m not that low. I never have any bad intention. I’m telling you all these are joke. I was just checking how marriage procedure works before i get married with my hubby.” taehyung speaks with frustrated voice.

“Does you boyfriend know what have you done?” jungkook asks.

Taehyung shakes his head as no.

“what is your boyfriend’s name?” jungkook asks.

Taehyung stares at jungkook for a literal minute with a dumb look. He suddenly forgot his boyfriend’s name. “Sir let me check.” saying taehyung pulls out his phone From his pocket.

“Are you for real? How many boyfriend do you have kid that you forgot his name?” jungkook speaks in disbelief.

“Only one. My first love, my first boyfriend. Actually sir i never called him by name. I always call him hubby so i kinda forgot his real name.” taehyung says going through his boyfriend’s Facebook account. “Oh his name is sehun. Lee sehun.” taehyung speaks with a very big smile while looking at jungkook.

Jungkook stares at taehyung’s smile for few seconds and then looks away. “Whatever!”

“Sir please let me work here sir please. I swear i will never make any fault.” taehyung begs again.

“Go you start your work. I’ll talk with jungkook.” manager says.

“Hyung, please assign me to any work that pays more. I can work regular shift like others. I really need money to pay back sir jungkook. I will do any work, even normal staff works too.” taehyung says.

“Okay go talk with chisa unnie, she will tell you what to do.” manager says.

“Thank you hyung.” saying taehyung leaves.

“What if he creates another problem?” jungkook asks.

“Maybe he wont. Why are you demanding all that money? You know they are middle class people. How would they pay 10 millions?” managers says.

“He should have understood every action has a reaction.” jungkook says putting on his headphone again.

Meanwhile taehyung gets a shift which starts at 9 am and doesn’t have any specific ending time. It Will end earlier if there are less work. And during busy days it will end later like other staffs who work fulldays.

Taehyung spends the whole day staying away from jungkook. He is not going to see the cruel man’s face anymore.
