Ashvik: (Mumble) Abhimanyu
bhaiya.
Standing infront of his room was Abhimanyu looking awkward and hesitant. Ashvik was shocked as hell because no matter what Abhimanyu never came to his room not even to Punish him so seeing him here was shocking for Ashvik.
( A/N : I know guys you all are thinking about the time He came to tuck in Ashvik as he was asleep, but yeah Ashvik was asleep so how would he know? )
Abhimanyu: umm Ashvik can I come inside?
(While scratching his neck)
Ashvik: yes bhai.
Saying this Ashvik gave space to
Abhimanyu to enter the room . He came and sat at the bed and looked at Ashvik, he didn’t feel good seeing Ashvik’s state , puffy eyes swollen face and his eyes were red too because of crying so much, so he started talking,
Abhimanyu: Ashvik, whatever happened downstairs. I know it’s wrong for father to say all those things to you . I am sorry on his behalf . And I…I want to tell you this you…you are not useless, you never were , you are the most disciplined kid of our family and whatever you do is enough. So don’t take fathers word into your heart.
Hearing Abhimanyu’s apology and praise Ashvik was shocked, as Abhimanyu never apologised and Praise ? Hell nah.and here he is apologising on their father’s behalf, and telling Him his worth were unbelievable and comical as They are also the one to demotivate him the most,
Ashvik: I …it’s okay Bhai you don’t need to apologise and lie to me it’s just (voice breaking) I cannot understand why..why does father hate me so much, it’s fine I know Armaan bhai , you and Father hate me. All the things Ashvik said was true but then too Hearing those from his mouth was still hurting Abhimanyu but then too he tried to reason with Ashvik by saying,
Abhimanyu: Ashvik you know mumma died giving birth to you ? Right. Now tell me if you love your partner to very core as much as you are ready to die for them but that person gave up on their life for a child even after doctors several warnings how would you feel ? Thats what is going on with father he is …he is not bad just heartbroken.
Whatever Abhimanyu said was true maybe not whole but still it was a part of the truth but He cannot tell the whole truth to Ashvik he didn’t want him to hate himself even more,his existence that’s why he has prohibited everyone from telling the whole truth to him , he was feeling like garbage for doing so meanwhile Ashvik,
Ashvik wanted to scream to fight to ask what about you both, and say I lost her too , what is the reason you hate me so much? Why ? but he just couldn’t so he said,
Ashvik: (blankly without any emotions) ok Bhai…i understand you can go back..
After this Abhimanyu left him alone.
After he left so many things were going on in his head he was not feeling good, so he decided to go for a walk, but he was feeling dizzy from morning only so he decided to talk to someone but he was embarrassed and too shy to face
Dante, so he called his best friend to talk his mind off bad things as everthing was too much for him first his father and then their is the love so strong and vivid in Dante’s eyes that it makes his knees go weak with its intensity so he called the only person he could think of~Amaira who picked the call in the first ring ,

Ashvik: Hello ira
Amaira: heloooo mere vik maharaj kaise aai yaad hamari ? Mujhe toh laga tum bhul hi Gaye ho mujhe ? Tell me .
Ashvik : we just met at the school Miss drama queen. And moreover kal se mai Busy hi tha isiliye call nhi kar paya.

Amaira:(panicked) hey vik i didn’t meant it like that .
Before she can say anything Ashvik burst out laughing.
Ashvik: I was just joking calm down girlie .
Amaira: you are bad vik , Dara Diya tha mujhe .
Ashvik: (hesitant) umm Amaira tell me one thing have you ever fallen in love ?
Amaira: uhh..yes..why would you ask that ?
Ashvik: yeah , so tell me if the person you like or love,loves you back and tells you I love you, what would you do ?

Ashvik: It’s .. nothing just curious. But wait tell me about your crush..like really who is it ? The one to stole the princess heart?
Amaira: umm I am actually dating someone.
Ashvik let the silence strech for few minutes then replied

Amaira: heyyy….so.so you know who is it ?
Ashvik: yeah , of course who else Xander bhai .
Amaira: waiittttt how ? I mean how did you get to know? Exactly when ?
Ashvik: umm at first it was just my doubt when both of you used to stare at each other at lunch break but then when he came to visit you before going home , and kissed you on your cheek i knew for sure . You both thought no one was there but I was ,you are lucky ki Dante was late varna ussi din you were done for good.

Amaira; you are so sweet Ashvik.thank you really. And why would I not trust you dummy.
Ashvik: hmm.okay bye chalo Mai ja raha homework karne warna AI wali madam maar dalengi.
Amaira: ooh shit mujhe bhi toh karna hai accha hua tumne yaad dila diya . Thanks

Then he went to study for few hours.

It was night time , Ansh came to Ashvik to take him for dinner, only to see him Shivering due to fever,
Ansh : Ashvik let’s go . The dinner is ready.
Ansh :(after watching his state) wait…tumhe bukhar hai?
Ashvik: nhi bhai woh toh aise hi.
Ansh : what aise hi clearly it’s visible baccha , patte ki tarah kaanp rahe ho tum .
Before he can say something else his father spotted him and came,
Kabeer: (with disgust )Ansh what are you doing here ?
Ansh : uhh woh mai Ashvik ko bulane aaya tha but usse fever hai

Kabeer: fever ? Ab kya har baar same bahana banaoge ? Naya bahana nhi milta tumhe Ashvik. Bas jab dekho tab bimar hi rehte ho .
Ashvik: mai..mai bahana nhi banata ..sacchi .
Kabeer: ha iska matlab hamesha bimar hi rehte ho tum, haina ? Tsk pathetic. Aur ansh tum chalo khana khane iss sickling ko yahi chod kar .
Ansh : (unwilling)but..papa aise kaise ,chod du uski tabiyat kharab hai ?
Kabeer : (with dark eyes ) bola na chalo aur maid hai hamare yaha khana de dengi woh .
Ansh was unwilling to go but he has to because he cannot refuse his dad as he is the elder and it would be bad and rude for him to do so , so he reluctantly agreed.
Ansh : okay, dhyan rakho apna Ashvik baccha . Kuch lage toh batana, khana bhijwa deta hu main upar hi . Aur medicine le Lena .
Ashvik: (embarrassed )ji bhai .
As Ansh said the maid came with food and he ate the food and slept after taking medicine.

After sometime as promised Dante came from the window, and saw Ashvik fast asleep.he went near him but furrowed his brow in confusion after seeing his flushed red face and sweaty body because of the fever but than too he was shivering.
He came and touched his forehead, because of which Ashvik flinched and woke up , confused but relaxed after seeing Dante .
Ashvik:(dry and hoarse voice) Dante , You came ?
Dante: yes , ofcourse meri jaan , I told you I will. Wait here let me help ,you your fever is quite high
Medicine Li baby ?
Ashvik: hmm. (Pouting) Kadwi thi but pura taste kharab ho gaya muh ka .
Dante sat down beside where he was sleeping, and started stroking his hairs lovingly.
Dante: baccha, dawai toh kadwi hi hogi na meri jaan , here take this .
Saying this he handed a packet full of chocolates to Ashvik.
Ashvik: ye kyu?
Dante : you were sad na , I heard from somewhere that chocolate helps to uplift the mood .
(Ignore the hand guys )
Ashvik: thank you, i will eat it later .(Mumble) I am sleepy now .
Saying this Ashvik hugged Dante’s waist as he was still sitting, resting his head on headrest,and slept making Dante’s breath hitch on the close proximity, Dante was feeling this whole zoo of animals in his stomach, meanwhile Ashvik just seeked the comfort from him , which he was missing from A long time. And didn’t even realise really due to the Fever.
Dante sat there for almost 1 hour stroking Ashvik’s hair gently and caressing his face occasionally than he realised Ashvik’s fever was increasing, so he went to the washroom and brought cold water and started to put Cold water strips on his forehead with his own handkerchief, as he couldn’t find cloth ,
Ashvik:(Sleepy mumble) uhmm…. don’t please…..it’s bad…and cold Dante.
Dante : shh thoda aur baccha, meri jaan you are strong na Love .
Ashvik: (crying softly) thandi… lag.. rahi ..
Dante stopped putting cloth and started soothing the crying Ashvik aka baby first.
Dante : shh baccha it’s fine love you did great, dekho abhi fever bhi kam ho gaya hai na .come and sleep baby.
