The Next Morning 🌄
Ashvik’s Pov
Aghhhhh, my head is hurting like hell and wait how the hell I am in my room ? Wait no.no.no.Jay and kai, the terrace ooh God Ansh bhai , he .he didn’t blame me how the hell? he beat them too for me , I was so scared, but he saved me, he stood up for
me ,that too infront of his own friends, but why ? After doing that glass thing, why would he come to save me ? Whatever it is, I don’t remember anything much
After that , I was just terrified of what could have happened if he didn’t come , I will die if something like that happens, I really cannot take it anymore .
I saw time and my eyes widened it’s freaking 3 pm , how can I sleep for so long, damn I am doomed, bhaiya would kill me happily and where the hell is my phone, after looking here and there I found it on the night stand, but I remember it being in my pocket and it was pretty much battery dead , I am feeling so stupid right now , I should have charged it , what if Ansh bhai didn’t come ? I couldn’t have even called anyone for help ,I am stupid .

Meanwhile Today Abhimanyu and Armaan decided to work from home only and Ansh also decided not to go to school along with Ashvik as Armaan has told them about fever so they decided to skip school and let him sleep for a day . So the maid didn’t wake up Ashvik from his sleep as normally when he is not awake,the head maid would wake him up.
The house was eerily quiet, Ashvik was terrified as he skipped school, which was one of the rules , when the head maid came to ask him for lunch, she told him about the brothers being home , which made him more scared, thinking he would be punished ,
He hesitantly went downstairs to see all three of them sitting on Dining table but the atmosphere was wrong, soo wrong, no one was talking, Ashvik then felt it , the stares all three of them were looking at him. Staring at him with such intensity that it made him feel weak all over again , but they were just busy in their own thoughts, as Ashvik was looking so small and Scared at the moment that all three were wondering that , from how long he is so small ? Why didn’t they notice it sooner? Or they were so busy hating him for the past to notice anything sooner . Does history have to repeat in worst way possible to open their eyes ? Is the loss of humans life will be required to know the damage? Or they will understand and can correct their mistake earlier .
Armaan : Sit , we have to talk about what happened yesterday.
After Armaan said those words Ashvik started trembling and mumbling apologies, he thought they were mad at him for creating trouble for Ansh and himself.
Ashvik: So.. sorry .. it .. won’t…. happen.. again…I didn’t..do anything… bhaiya….to anyone..I promise…Jay and Kai .. they.. came .. I didn’t know.. I was.. there.. to calm.. down. and breath…..I promise… .i am sorry..
Abhimanyu: shh stop your rambling and listen carefully.
They were having this talk as after they all went to sleep, Armaan got a detailed information about Kai’s family and came to know about their relation with the rival gang , and khanna family has gone mad after loosing everything and are trying to do everything and anything to get control and power.they even suspect that it was planned to break the Goenka’s as someone out there knew about the truth of Ashvik’s birth . They want the history, the mistake to repeat, the brothers are terrified for Ashvik, they don’t want to lose him too , they can’t let the same person destroy their family twice .
Armaan: Ansh told us what happened.We know whatever happened was not your fault, and yes, you are not going to get punishment for skipping school as you are injured so I instructed the maid not to Wake you up , we want to talk about, what to do if something like this happen in future.
Abhimanyu: There are some rules for both of you to follow, Armaan and I had a serious talk about it and these should be carefully followed by both ansh and Ashvik for safety .
1- Both of you have to wear this pendant with tracker and emergency button in it, see if you are in any danger just long press the button in the back , And before you object Ansh it’s not negotiable, as what happened yesterday could have end up differently too. You can never ever remove it , understand?
Ashvik/Ansh: yess bhaiya.

2- Ansh , you will take Ashvik with you to school and I will send driver to pick him up , I can’t take any risk anymore as Khanna family is doing anything to get back at us .
3- if you find anyone suspicious, even a bit immediately call any of us no matter when and where, you can’t leave the house after 6pm and before 5am , Ansh you too .
4- stay within each others sight in school, at least in free time till we say so .
5- Don’t let anyone harm you Ashvik this one is specially for you if someone harms you tell us or Ansh immediately.
As the words left his mouth Ashvik looked at him for good two seconds then looked at Ansh ,who was giving him threatening look , he again looked at Abhimanyu and nodded , what else he could have done ? He cannot say that the one you are instructing to protect is the threat but Ansh, he is just nervous as he knew whatever he has done is unacceptable from him and if Ashvik blurt out the truth he will be doomed , So he did what he is best at just give a threatening look to scare him , which worked too .
Abhimanyu: Understand?
Ashvik/Ansh: yess.
Armaan : Now eat your food and go back to your room . And Ashvik your phone should be charged every god damn time , it’s not for playing games , understood? Have you ever thought what would have happened if Ansh didn’t got to you on time huh ? How could you be soo careless?
Armaan was so mad at Ashvik right now, And Ashvik was looking like he might cry at any moment with fear .
Seeing it Armaan calmed down and told him to eat .
The food was served, Ashvik didn’t start eating, he was not hungry, so he was just playing with his food , suddenly Armaan spoke.
Armaan: Ashvik, from Tommorow be in dinning at 7 for breakfast. And eat your damn food it’s not for playing.
Ashvik: but you said I cannot come for breakfast right?
Armaan : So what ? Now I am saying you have to come so just come .
Ashvik was too stunned to speak so he just gave a curt nod . He was feeling weird as after long time his brothers were showing concern for him , he was feeling bitter too as if yesterday’s incident have not happened they would be treating him the same way right? Like a ghost In his own home , so why are they acting like they really cared ? Do he had to almost get molested for receiving basic care and attention from his brothers? He just wanted to ask why? Why now? When he was finally feeling happy with his friends. When he felt he belongs somewhere, why his stupid heart started to feel hopeful again? So before he could say something he regret he completed his whole meal reluctantly and was leaving, by now Abhimanyu and Ansh had left for their own rooms , he was going to his room when Armaan said that he was having fever and should take medicine again.
To which Ashvik chuckled bitterly and said ,
Ashvik: It’s nothing bhai , remember the time when my teacher told you about the pending project and you punished me , I had high fever from past a week but then too you made me sit on that rice , I don’t think a little fever would do anything now. So yeah , I should leave , my friends would be worried as I have not talked to them after performing.
Ashvik left after saying it , Armaan was looking so deadly right now, ofcourse he remembered he did remember taking Ashvik to ER after he fainted, doctor has told him about the fever, that was the one of the time he regretted punishing Ashvik, but because of his own ego he never really apologised and he is still not ready to apologise, but seeing the result of that punishment he was feeling so Angry, not at Ashvik but at himself, for being so overly egoistic but still will he apologise? Nahh not so early, but what if Ashvik didn’t need his apology afterwards or what is the proof that he will accept it ?
