Lock me up and throw away the key
He knows how to get the best out of me
I’m no force for the world to see
Trade my whole life just to be
—One of the Girls

When I came back into my bedroom, I found myself biting my lips while thinking of Leo. He had to make Lucian’s dinner, and left me with his lingering kiss. I tried to delve deeper to see if he had any ulterior motives, but I only saw devotion. That’s when I saw Salve with his arms crossed on my bed.

“Baby… I’m sorry about earlier,” I went to the bed and knelt before him, “A lot was happening and I couldn’t—I couldn’t think straight. Please don’t leave me like that again.”

“You were perfectly accompanied by Leo,” Salve replied, tilting his bouncy hair which made it impossible for him to look intimidating, “You like him, don’t you?”

“Salve…” I sighed. “I was just trying to get into his head…”

“No, I get it. You’re thirsty for blood and intimacy that I unfortunately can’t give you. If I were alive, I’d get jealous, I’d be cruel, I’d let everyone know your heart belongs to me. But I’m not alive, and your heart can’t belong to someone that doesn’t exist anymore. I’m just a ghost you can’t feel. Why would I still be here…”

“You’re staying, Salve!” I exclaimed, holding his hand between my own, “I need you, I can’t do this without you!”

“You don’t need me,” Salve said quietly, pulling his hand from my grasp. It’s worse that he isn’t angry—his voice is tired, he felt betrayed. “You just don’t want to be alone. With them, you’re not never be alone, so there’s no need for me.”

“That’s not true, Salve. Without you, I’m nothing!” I shake my head, my hands falling back into my lap. But the statue of the Lady looks down at me, judging my lie.

Salve cried softly, “Jude… look at you. You’re kneeling in front of me like I’m a saint, begging me to stay, while your thirst yearns for them.”

“I don’t want them, Salve!” I yelled out. “I didn’t ask for any of this!”

“YOU CAME HERE TO BE FREE OF GUILT IN THE FIRST PLACE, you came here to be free of me!” Salve disappeared in front of me and stood by the door, putting distance between us on purpose. “Why would you keep me here? Just to watch you fall for someone else? Why make me suffer even in death?”

“Salve, please… I don’t want you to disappear just yet. I’m still alone in this world and the only person who I share a soul with died in front of me, I was left without a light in my world and now you want to keep me in darkness?!”

“But I can’t leave, I literally can’t leave you. I’ll still be here; I’ll always be here as long as you’re holding on to me, you couldn’t even free me, too…”

“Salve—” I reached for him, but my fingers close around nothing. He’s gone, refusing to look at my pathetic face.

The room feels emptier than it should, colder than stone. My tears finally gave out and I sink to my knees beside the bed, hands trembling as I clasp them together. I don’t want to lose Salve… but I’m losing to temptation…

I bow my head, pressing my forehead to my knuckles. She’s looking down at me, with stone eyes cold and lifeless. “Dear God… please give me the same mercy you granted to Lucifer, your son. Grant me the will to escape, to resist… and grant me forgiveness for every sin I have yet to indulge in.”

Evie’s door was slightly open when I reached it, warm light spilling into the hallway along with the low hum of modern music. I hesitated—hand hovering, heart thudding—but this was inevitable. I had promised, I have to commit; I have to get into their head.

I promise you, Salve… my heart will always belong to you. So I knocked on the door.

The door swung open almost immediately, revealing a beautiful boy with eyes that reflect light in two different wavelengths, a smile as bright as the moon.

“Puppy! You came!” Glass beamed with his eyes barely open in an adorable way, his smile bright as if he’d been waiting behind it the whole time. He grabbed my wrist and tugged me inside. “Babe, he’s here!”

The room was hazy, the air thick with a lazy veil of smoke that curled toward the ceiling and clung to the walls like a living thing. It smelled sweet and herbal beneath the sharper iron tang of blood. Candles bled through the fog, turning everything soft and unreal—shadows blurred, edges melted, time itself felt slower. Everything was either in blood red or royal purple, from pillows to sheets and the sofa was a velvet red. This whole room screams Evie.

Glass shut the door behind me and leaned in close, voice dropping mischievously. “Evie’s in a mood, but don’t worry. He’ll be nice.”

“I heard that,” Evie called from the bar filled with half empty bottles, not even turning around. He was pouring something thick and dark into crystal glasses, his movements precise, almost bored. “I don’t plan to be gentle, I’ve been eyeing him since his *ss walked in here. If he breaks, you clean him up.”

Glass laughed, bright and careless, and pressed a hand to my lower back, guiding me to sit on the sofa. “You’re always so dramatic, sweetheart. If you’re not gonna be gentle, then you don’t deserve to be his first time.”

My first time? Evie glanced over his shoulder then puts a cigarette between his lips. The smoke in the air is changing my breathing pattern a bit, but it’s soft. Glass suddenly presents me with a small box. When he lifted the lid, my breath caught.

Cupcakes.

Perfectly frosted, dark red velvet with glossy swirls of blood pooled like syrup at the peak. The scent hit me all at once—warm, rich, intoxicating. My mouth watered before I could stop myself, fangs aching, stomach twisting with hunger sharp enough to make my vision blur.

Glass noticed immediately.

“Ah-ah,” he said softly, delighted. “These are bloodcakes… Leo baked them with the blood of a newborn lamb, so it won’t be as sweet as our blood. It will still taste good because it’s laced. So slow down and don’t eat the whole thing before a minute…”

“Wh-what do you mean?”

Evie smiled, “The bloodcake makes you feel funny.”

It’s drugged?! I tore my eyes away, immediately avoiding the temptation of blood invading my nostrils. “I shouldn’t… we have class tomorrow.”

Evie snorted. “Pryce loves them, what makes you think you’re not allowed? Hah, this guy is such a virgin…”

“I’m not a virgin,” I scowl.

Evie blew smoke in my face, making me even more hazy than just taking it from the air. “Then take it, Father Jude. You’re acting like priests are free from sin when we’re just as flawed as a dying man uttering his first prayer.”

Glass picked one up carefully, holding it between two fingers like a gift. “It’s okay, Jude. You don’t have to eat it if you don’t want to.” He leans closer, as if presenting himself as a treat for me. “I just thought you might like the option…”

My throat worked overtime trying to keep down a lump of hunger that formed there. The frosting gleamed. My pulse thundered in my ears.

“No,” I forced out a breath, trying to exhale the smell out of my nose. “I’m… I can’t take that.”

Glass tilted his head, studying me with two different colored eyes. Then, without breaking eye contact, he took a bite right in front of me.

The velvet red cake smeared against his lips as he hummed in satisfaction, lashes fluttering. A drop of red fudge slid down his bottom lip and he caught it with his tongue, slow, deliberate. My knees nearly buckled, my eyes following each twitch of his facial muscles.

Dear God… did you make your creations so beautifully dangerous, you had to hide from them?

Only Evie’s voice snapped me out of my trance.

“We made a deal with Leo not to use our powers on you,” Evie said, eyes staying green. “But from the look of your pants, I don’t think we need to.”

I crossed my legs, trying to conceal the arousal hidden deep in my slacks.

Glass giggles while Evie rolled his eyes, “Oh, please. I’ve never met a man not enamored by Glass’ beauty. Why resist? We’re all sinners here… and I happen to love watching men like you fall to their knees for him.”

I’m eyeing Evie to ensure he’s telling the truth, which I doubt. His eyes right now are genuinely turned on when watching his boyfriend touch my thigh suggestively. But it doesn’t mean he’s not keeping Glass in a cage.

“Mmm, have a taste of cake, puppy…” Glass whispered seductively, offering me the freshly bitten cupcake. I want to touch Glass. I need to look into his mind… does he really love Evie? Does he really like doing this…

Evie sits in front of us with his cigarette, watching Glass mesmerize me with the blood in his tongue. I glance once at him, and his green eyes indicate he’s daring for me to defile his lover.

“Puppy?” Glass giggled while holding the cake in front of me, and f*ck, I’m just a man. I’m just as a dirty sinner as any other man—I grabbed his wrist and tasted the cake; not by taking a bite, no. But by tasting the blood remaining on his tongue.

The cake was unreal—warm in a way heat could never be, rich and velvety as it slid over my tongue, sweet at first like sugared wine before deepening into something darker, forbidden. It tasted like a confession whispered straight into my mouth.

I could hear his voice in my head, but too distracted to focus on what it’s about. “Forgive me Everest, for I have sinned…”

“I’m not letting anyone have you,” Evie said to me, currently in the mind of Glass. “I’d rather watch you f*ck Leo every single day than break up with you—you’re not leaving, do you hear me?!”

Ouch! I felt my heart muscles contract, and I looked down to see blood on my chest. I cried out, “Eve, you’re hurting me! I’m sorry! Please!”

Yet those plump lips tore me out of the vision, cushioning my own. Glass hummed softly, pleased, his tongue lingering just long enough for the flavor to bloom before he pulled back, eyes half-lidded as if he knew exactly what he’d done to me.

My visions… what were they again? I couldn’t remember… all I see is Glass in front of me with eyes that beg me to stay with him, body and mind.

The smoke, the candles, the quiet way Evie watched—it all shrank the room until there was only Glass and the ache he planted behind my ribs. When he pulled away, he didn’t rush me, didn’t push; he just smiled, letting the aftertaste haunt me, already craving more of him before I could remember how to pray.

“Oh? You’re so hard, Jude.”

“I—I’m sorry…”

“Don’t be sorry, Pup. Let me take care of you,” he whispered, pushing my legs apart. Not once did their eyes turn red—it was just me and my overwhelming desire for Glass that let him do what he wants and have my pants undone.

I gasp when he welcomed me inside his mouth, the hard member engulfed in his incredibly soft mouth. The inside of his cheek is silky, and his tongue is playful. “G-Glass…”

My hazy sight gave way to a vision of Evie yelling at him, “THAT’S NOT WHAT WE AGREED ON—god, you’re such a sl*t, Glass! Did you or did you not sneak out in the middle of the night to f*ck Redd?!”

“Mmhmm.”

“ANSWER ME—are you f*cking high again?”

I—actually Glass, couldn’t even feel my limbs as I just smiled dreamily at Evie. “It’s the only way I could listen to you, babe. God, I wish I could overdose…”

“You’re a f*cking sl*t. I didn’t buy you from the brothel just so you could be an unpaid wh*re in this convent!”

“Then break up with me… I don’t care.”

That’s all I could see before I was brought back to Glass sucking mex I look at Evie with my deep breaths, and the man is smiling while watching his lover blow me. God f*ck, it feels good… but I don’t understand. What’s going on with them? What even is their relationship?

While Glass’ head eagerly bounces on my shaft, the door opens, much to my shock. I even tried to push Glass away, but he kept me in place. None of them minded that Redd came in here with bottles of wine.

“I stole this from Pryce, don’t tell the f*cker…” Redd smirked at Evie, before setting his eyes on me. “You’re already at it, Glass? Couldn’t even wait to take off his clothes?”

“Mmmhnnmhh…” Glass mumbled, the vibrations in his throat making me melt into the sofa.

“Redd, darling…” Evie greeted the man by kneeling on the sofa and kissing him on the mouth. “Pryce? Leo?”

Leo’s coming here?!

“Pryce has a meeting with the Monsignor…” Redd replied as Evie unbuttons the big man’s shirt. “Mmm… sweaty, huh? You came back from the gym, you’re already up for feeding.”

“Nah,” Redd undoes his belt, “I want to f*ck you, Eve. Right in front of the virgin…”

Glass seemed to enjoy the show because he pulls himself off me to whisper against my ear, “That’s one hot giant c*ck. You’ll get to try it soon…”

“I don’t—”

“Shhh… just enjoy…”

I felt myself split down the middle, a quiet war waged between the warmth of wanting and the cold clarity of what I’m supposed to be—a priest. But in reality, I’m a vampire with the clear need to indulge in sin. I started praying…

“Oh god… oh my god…” I prayed not for the temptation to disappear, but for the strength to endure it.

I didn’t even notice Leo coming inside until I opened my eyes as saw him staring by the door, eyes only on me despite Evie’s hot kissing with Redd.

My eyes fall half-lidded, ashamed that I’m enjoying Glass’ mouth while Leo watches. He has confessed his feelings to me… but now he’s watching me getting blown by Glass.

“Leo,” Evie sang out his name, “Are you joining?”

“I’m here to make sure you won’t break him, Evie.”

“Too bad, I was planning on it…” Evie said as Redd hungrily kisses all over his neck. “Mmm, you younglings are so eager. It’s what I like about newborns… they’re so fragile and want so desperately to feed.”

I hear Redd growl as he nibbled on Evie’s collarbone. He is also a new vampire like me; Redd and I aren’t so different. Beside him, those green eyes are still watching his boyfriend suck me. “Welcome to our world… Father Jude.”

Dear God…

My hands are on Glass’ neck, trying to hard to focus on the visions but I got torn out because of Leo kneeling beside me, weaving his fingers through my hair and kissing me on the mouth at the same gentle passion as earlier. I melted into it, my breath getting shallow from Glass’ mouth on me.

Dear God… all my life you’ve punished me for what I am…

“Ahh…” I moaned against Leo’s mouth, looking down to see him touching himself. F*ck…

Dear God, is this the mercy you’ve granted me?

I was cursed with curiosity—I reached out to touch Leo, and he breathes in sharply at the feel of my cold hands against his piercing. But I was too scared to move… I might hurt him.

“Don’t be scared,” he said, holding my hand and guiding it up and down.

Dear God, I’m feeling a burning pleasure that is far from the innocent love I had with Salve. Is this your twisted idea of heaven… or is this your glorified hell?

I look up at him, sighing in pleasure when Glass started licking the underside of my shaft. Less playing, more making love. I didn’t squeeze Leo or anything, I was still too scared of his piercings.

But he kept jerking my hand against his d*ck, using me to get himself off while I feel my own climax coming because of Glass. It doesn’t help that their blood…

“I can smell his blood from here…” Evie cursed, currently straddling Redd’s thigh as he played with his—Glass was right, Redd is huge!

“You’re coming… what a good boy,” Leo delicately whispered to me, turning his head to watch Glass speed up as well as using his hand. “You’re doing great…”

“Leo…” sweat dripped down my brow as my mouth dried up from thirst. My hand moves on its own and speeds up as if my sustenance is waiting inside Leo.

Evie whispered something to Redd and the man moved to kneel behind Glass. Evie knelt beside his lover, between my legs. He grabs Glass’ neck and demanded a kiss from him, just as Redd strips him off his pants.

Something burned inside of me, watching Glass get devoured by both Redd and Evie. I don’t know if it’s jealousy or desire, but I want Glass’ attention only on me. Even my hand on Leo was getting angry…

“I want him so bad,” Evie hissed, fangs sprouting out as he licks Glass’ lips, “Make him c*m for me baby, I want his blood…”

Glass obeyed and sped up with his hands, now eagerly sucking on my head as I felt Leo’s pulse under my head. I’m gonna c*m…

“Leo…” I’m asking him for help. I don’t know if I want to c*m, I don’t know if I want Evie’s teeth on me. I whimpered against Leo’s lips, “Oh god…” it feels too good to stop…

“That’s it, baby…” Whose voice is that? Evie to Glass, or Leo to me?

I was too caught up in watching Redd insert himself inside Glass and when I heard him moan sharply, I couldn’t control myself and came—the moment I do, Evie rose to attack my neck, but Leo blocked his teeth with his arm, immediately bleeding in front of me.

“Don’t f*cking hurt him!” Leo roared like a lion, and Evie hissed like a panther. These weren’t men I’m surrounded with right now… they’re animals.

So am I… “Leo…” my eyes turn red and I grabbed onto his arm, begging to put that blood in my mouth. Someone stop me, please… God…

Glass’ hand on my face distracted me, and he leans up to kiss me on the lips.

In that moment, I was too distracted to feel Evie clamp his mouth against my neck, the wound opening up the air for the smell of my blood. It overpowered the smoke, it overpowered the drugs in Glass’ system.

Dear God… where is Salve? I feel lost without him. I feel empty… my blood is being drained out of me, I’m being emptied out…

Leo took my wrist and sank his teeth into it, grunting because of the sweetness of virgin blood. All while Glass got lost in the pleasure of Redd f*cking him roughly. “Is it… sweet?”

Leo grunted in response, barely breathing as he devours me. My neck however, started to feel numb…

“Puppy… you look so beautiful… our little pup—”

The sight of me bleeding seemed to drive Glass into a climax, and Redd immediately grabbed his hair and pull him up to feed on his neck, all while still inside of him. Vampires only need a small amount of rich, oxygen-deprived blood so Redd didn’t feed on him for long.

When Redd took his fangs out of him, Salve fell onto me, and with trembling hands I held him by the neck as he bleeds into my hands.

Dear…

“Salve,” I whispered, no longer feeling Leo’s teeth in my wrist. My vision is blurry as my lids feel heavy, the boy in front of me flashing from the past to the present….

“Evie, stop…” as Leo’s voice fades, Salve’s face turned into concern in front of me. Leo’s voice is faint but angry as he yells, “Eve, you’re taking too much!”

Dear God, .. .    . .  . .. … .  .  .. .   . .  ..  …. . … .  … .. . . . ..

“Salve…” I cried to Glass, my hands trembling as I try to stop his neck from bleeding. I tried to stop him from falling, I tried to stop him from leaving, “I’m sorry, my love… I’m…”

“Evie, STOP IT!” He begged, but I couldn’t hear him or God anymore as I lost my consciousness.
