Chapter 27

“Taehyungaahhh?” taehyung’s sister jiya calls loudly.

“Whaaatt?” taehyung answers from the balcony while taking care of his plants.

“Are you going somewhere right now?” jiya asks.

“No, currently I’m jobless.” taehyung answers.

“Then get ready. Let’s go somewhere.” jiya says.

“Where?” taehyung asks.

“Let’s see… Get ready first…”

After taehyung is done with taking care of his plants, he gets ready to go out with his sister. When jiya is also ready both of them leave.

“Are we going to walk?” taehyung asks and jiya nods.
“Then why didn’t you ask for money to mumma? I can’t walk. Where are you taking me?” taehyung whines but jiya stays silent.

After walking for 15 minutes, they take a turn to a specific street and taehyung stops of his track instantly.

“I’m not going there.” he says with a grumpy face.

“Nothing will happen. Comeee…” jiya pulls his hand slightly.

“I’m not going there even if i die..” saying taehyung is about to run away but jiya holds him by his tee shirt.

“Why are you acting like I’m taking you to hell? Let’s go… You will get free foods remember?” saying jiya tries to pull taehyung with her.

“I Don’t care. I Don’t want foods. Appa already scolded me a lot for buying things on jungkook sir’s money. Now if he gets to know you are still meeting with that poor boy and brought me with you, he will kill both of us.” taehyung screams standing on the middle of the street.

“How will appa know if we Don’t tell him? Let’s goooo….” saying jiya pulls taehyung by his tee shirt with her all force.

“Aaaaahhhhh leave me i Don’t want to goooooo….” taehyung dramatically screams while getting dragged by his sister.

All the passers by look at the siblings weirdly. One is refusing to go, other one is dragging him with her.

5 minutes later taehyung gives up and walks with his sister. 10 minutes later they reach to an expensive looking street where lots of tall buildings are and beside the street, there are lots of food shops in row. Lots of people are sitting and eating. This street is famous for foods and always crowdy. Last time he came here 2 months ago when he still didn’t get his first boyfriend.

Jiya walks straight and taehyung follows her. He knows where his sister is going. After passing 3 shops, they enter into the 4th shop. Some workers of the shop notice them and give them smile.

“Hansul, your wife and brother in law is hereee…” one Worker speaks loudly.

“Hansul is working inside.” another worker says and goes inside to call the guy named hansul.

“Let’s seat till he comes.” jiya says finding a table with two chairs and both of them seat.

Few moments later a tall guy wearing black hoodie and black sweatpant approaches them. “Jiya?” the guy calls taehyung’s sister by placing his hand on her shoulder. Jiya instantly turns to him.

“Han!” she exclaims with a big smile and shinning eyes. She gets up from her chair abd hugs the guy immediately. The guy also hugs her tightly while placing kisses on her whole face.

“So shameless…” taehyung murmurs seeing the scene.

“I missed you a lot…” the guy named han says with a broken voice, pressing his lips on jiya’s forehead.

“I missed you too… A lot….” jiya says letting some tears fall. They are meeting after more than two months.

“If appa knows it somehow, he will bury three of us alive.” taehyung says.

Both jiya and han pull away hearing taehyung’s voice. Han makes jiya seat on the chair and he brings another chair for him and joins them.

“Wassup brother in law? Long time no see…” han says with a cheerful voice.

“First of all stop calling me brother in law. Secondly, i know your eyes are blessed seeing me. Thirdly, you look so ugly with this hair cut. Previous style was better.” taehyung says with a bored expression.

“Really i look bad? But your sister said i look better with this style.” han says.

“My noona has a bad taste, Don’t you know? She chose you after all..” taehyung answers. Neither jiya or han mind anything because It’s taehyung’s habit to talk like this.

“How’s thing going there?” han asks about jiya’s marriage proposals.

“Father looked about 3 guys till now. You better get a job soon or else the marriage is unstoppable.” taehyung answers.

“I’m trying… Really trying…” han says with a worried face.

“I have Been hearing this trying trying since last 5 years. My sister is so in love with you that she doesn’t even care anything.” taehyung says.

“Taehyung shut up!” jiya scolds.

“Ah let him speak. If not me then with who he will talk like this? I’m his only brother in law.” han says pulling taehyung by his cheek.

“Eh, stop touching my cheek. Bring foods for me.” taehyung says.

“There’s some new juices on the menu. Do you want to try?” han asks as he gets up.

“Okay… And send me 4 chicken fries, one plate of dumpligs, cheese carbonara noodles, one kielbasa sausage and 3 scoop of ice cream. And juices that you think are better.” taehyung says without looking at the menu. He has Been eating here so frequently that he has the whole menu memorize.

“Yahh taehyung stop ordering all these. Just order two foods.” jiya says. Because han is the one always pays for the foods taehyung eats here. And most of the time taehyung orders so much that han’s salary becomes half after paying for the food.

“No, let him eat. I can’t bring my brother in law gifts. So the only thing i can do is pay for his foods.” han says. He never complains about taehyung ending his half salary whenever he comes here.
“You seat here. I’ll ask someone to deliver your food.” han says holding jiya’s hand and both walks away from there.

Taehyung stares at them only. They always leave him alone. But who cares since he is going to eat and pass his own time. He begins playing a random game on his phone till he waits for his foods to arrive.

“Owaah taehyung you look more beautiful.. What’s the secret? Did you change your hair color?” one guy asks approaching taehyung with two kinds of foods.

“You are blind. I have never hand any hair color.” taehyung says as he checks the foods closely. “Bring me mayonnaise and sauce. Your chef still Don’t know how to make a proper sauce.” he says.

“How about you come and teach our chef?” the guy says winking at taehyung.

“Get out. Bring other foods. I’ll poke your eyes with this chopstick if you show me dirty sign again.” taehyung threatens.

But the guy laughs. “Winking is not dirty sign taehyung ahh…” he says while leaving.

Taehyung begins eating while looking around. He is used to eat here all alone. While eating he thinks how to entertain Himself. And when he thinks about entertainment, jungkook comes in his mind immediately. So he decidea to video call the idol.

Jungkook picks up the call almost instantly, looks like the phone has been in his hand. All other times taehyung has video called him, jungkook’s camera was always off. But now for the first time he sees the idol’s face on video call as he has not turned off the camera.

“Jungkook sir, hi!” taehyung says cutely waving his hand in front of the camera.

“Where are you?” jungkook asks seeing taehyung outside.

“I’m eating. See….” saying taehyung uses the back camera to show his foods and surrounding. Then he again switches to the front camera.

“Are you alone?” jungkook asks.

“I’m here with my sister. What are you doing sir?”

“My yard needs some cleaning. So a worker is working there and I’m watching over. Where are you? Which place is this? Where is your sister?” the idol can’t help but ask seeing taehyung alone.

“I have come here with my sister. It’s songdeokk street. Her boyfriend works here in a food shop. So my noona has made me seat here with all these foods and left with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is going to pay. He always pays whenever i come here.”

“Where did they leave leaving you alone?”

“I Don’t know sir. But she always does this. She brings me here. Then makes me seat here with these foods and leaves with her boyfriend. Then 2-3 hours later she comes back. And i eat and roam around alone to pass the whole time.”

Hearing this jungkook laughs. “That’s such a hustle for you i guess.” he says.

“Definitely a hustle. They are in a relationship from last 8 years. My sister is 23 and her boyfriend is 25 now. And that guy works in this shop ever since. When i was 10 year old, she bought me here first. Then she made me seat here with foods for a whole hour. And i was crying thinking my sister left me alone. But after that i kept coming here with her frequently and she left me like this always. So i got habituated day by day. i Don’t cry anymore. God knows what do they do in these hours and where they go…” taehyung says shoving a whole piece of dumpling inside his mouth.

“But you said your father was searching groom for her?” jungkook asks curiously.

Taehyung gulps down his food and sips some juice. “Yes. Because appa hasn’t accepted this boy. And looks like he will never accept. When appa was looking for groom for my noona, she told him about her relationship and her boyfriend also send marriage proposal for her. But told you sir, her boyfriend is basically a jobless. He works in this shop since i met him first. His parents are divorced and he is the one carrying his mother and two younger siblings with his salary. So appa rejected the proposal saying noona shouldn’t get married in a family like this just because she is blind in love. Who knows how life turns in future and maybe she can’t survive there. So father threatened her to break up with the boy. But she still didn’t and one day father slapped her thrice when noona rejected a good marriage proposal for her boyfriend. Since then appa always keeps noona under observation. Appa thinks noona broke up. I also thought she broke up after she got beaten. But then she has brought me here and i got to know they are still together secretly.” taehyung narrates the whole story.

“Such a long story. But the guy should look for any job..” jungkook says.

“Since last 5 years I’m hearing he is trying for a job. But Here’s another story. Her boyfriend is native to anchong province. His orginal house is in a village. Due to his parents separation and lack of money, his mother couldn’t fund for his education. So he Isn’t that highly educated. But he does two jobs to carry his family. One is in a convenience store from early in the morning till afternoon, and then he works here from the afternoon to late at night. He is a nice person and hardworking too. I feel bad for them but i can’t say anything or else father will beat me to death if he knows I’m involve in her relationship too.” as taehyung speaks, the same guy who surved him foods earlier, comes to him with two more plates of foods.

“With who are you talking taehyunggg? Did you get a boyfriend after all these years?” the guy speaks with a loud grin and tries to peak on taehyung’s phone but taehyung hides the screen faster.

“You leave. Don’t disturb me.” taehyung says.

“Y’ALL TAEHYUNG CUTIE GOT A BOYFRIEND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!” the guy says dramatically, leaving taehyung.

“Who is this? Who is this boy talking?” jungkook says with a deep frown hearing men voice around taehyung.

“That’s a waiter. He also works here. And always flirts with me whenever i come.”

“He flirts with you?” jungkook speaks with raised brows.

“Yeah… But he got a girlfriend. I met her twice in this shop. There was one guy used to work here, when i was 13 , he gave me two love letters.” saying taehyung laughs loudly.

But jungkook does not laugh. His face becomes strict in a blink. “Someone gave you love letter when you were 13?” jungkook asks, not believing his ears.

“One guy gave love letters. And two other guys proposed me. So total three boys were trying to approach me that time. I started getting proposals when i was 6-7 year old. I used to live in our village that time and there was a guy who would always behind me and ask me to marry him. I used to hide always whenever i saw him. I was 7 that time. I told my eomma about it but she said the guy was joking with me only.”

“What did you do?” jungkook asks, losing his shit. How can someone approach a 7 years old boy?

“I did not do anything. When noona saw those love letters, she was crying so much and wanted to break up with her boyfriend saying why are you friends giving my innocent little brother these kinds of proposals. So after that day, they Don’t approach me anymore.”

“You stay there. I’m coming.” the idol says hanging up the call.

“Ehh? Why did he hang up? Anyway-” taehyung says putting down his phone and focuses on his foods.

It has been like 20 minutes since jungkook has hanged up, and taehyung is still eating lazily while scrolling his Facebook. Earlier he posted photos of him from the festival and all of his friends commented “did you get a sugar daddy? Who took you there?” taehyung laughs seeing the comments.

At that time his phone rings showing jungkook’s caller id. He picks up the call. “Yes sir?” he says.

“In which shop you are?” jungkook asks.

“The name of the shop is mommy’s kitche-” before taehyung can finish jungkook hangs up.

“Is sir really here?” taehyung wonders and looks up. Just the moment he looks up, he saw a man with bulk body, gray loose full sleeve tee shirt and gray sweatpant, bucket hat on head and face covered with a black mask, black shoes- walking toward him.

Taehyung recognises instantly. “Sir!” he says excitedly waving his hand to jungkoook.

Jungkook doesn’t wave back or anything. He Directly pulls the chair in front of taehyung and sits down.

“Sir you are really here? You are so fast.” taehyung says with a laugh. “But thank god you are here. It’s extremely hard to eat for 3 hours. Look my foods are still the same. I’m taking one bite in after every 10 minutes to pass my time.” taehyung says.

“Now eat the way you want.” jungkook says looking around, trying to spot if anyone is staring at taehyung.

“Right. Now i should eat first. I can pass my remaining time with you.” saying taehyung begins shoving foods inside his mouth.

“Sir, listen one thing…” suddenly taehyung whispers with a low voice.

“What?” jungkook asks.

“How did you get such big boobies?” taehyung whispers.

“What?” jungkook speaks like a stupid, then checks his chest. “When did i get boobs?” he asks.

Without answering taehyung suddenly pokes jungkook’s left and right chest areas which are so prominent and can be clearly visible. “Aren’t These boobies?” taehyung asks.

“I work out so my chest is much built and hard. That’s why they look like this.” jungkook says, done with taehyun’s stupidity.

“Oh…” taehyung says with open mouth. “I thought you needed to wear bras. So i was just pointing that out.” he says.

“Sometimes you can be really stupid. Wait here. I’m going to pay.” jungkook says when taehyung is eating his finishing meal.

“Shar, yuu don ned to payyy… Noona’s boifren will payy…” taehyung speaks with mouthful foods.

But jungkook does not listen and gets up. When he stands near the counter and is about to swip his card, one worker speaks, “are you taehyung’s boyfriend?”

“You Don’t need to know.” jungkook answers.

“Well you Don’t need to pay.” the worker says.

“No, I’ll pay for him.” saying jungkook pays and again walks to taehyung.

“Are you done? Let’s go.” he says.

Taehyung gets up from the chair holding his ice cream. “Where are you going sir? My noona will come here again. She will be worried if she doesn’t find me.” taehyung says following jungkook outside.

“She should call you if she does not find you. Once she call, we can come back here again.” the idol says holding taehyung’s hand and pulling him closer as there are so many youngs boys.

“Then where are we going?” taehyung asks.

“Do you want me to take you in a drive?” jungkook asks.

“Yes yes Sir please.” taehyung says excitedly. They walk till they reach to jungkook’s car.

Both of them hop on inside and jungkook begins driving. “Where should i drive?” he asks to taehyung.

“To the sea. I love seas..” taehyung says.

“Tae if we drive to sea, then we can not come back here on time. Sea is far away from here.” jungkook says putting on his seatbelt.

“Then Anywhere. Play some songs, sir. I love to ride car. I had a friend in daegu. Her father owned a car. Sometimes she used to talk all of her friends including me to long drive. But it was few years back.”

Jungkook plays songs and drives silently yet aimlessly. Beside him taehyung is singing alone to a song with his highest voice. He is always singing out of the note, sometimes trying to sing a high note but ends up coughing loudly when his breath runs out and voice breaks. But still he sounds more enthusiastic than ever.

“Sir, will you teach me how to sing? Don’t i sing beautifully sir?” taehyung asks, as he tries to sing the choras part of a song.

“Maybe send your children to me. It will be easier to teach them rather than teaching you.” jungkook says, trying his best to control his laugh. Right now taehyung is trying to rap and it sounds so funny.

“You are so rude sir!” taehyung says and again focuses on his singing.

“You need to stop flirting with people.” jungkook says with a cold face.

“I Don’t flirt with anyone. What are you saying, sir?”‘

“When someone approaches you, reject them directly instead of questioning why, what, how, when etc.”

“Sir i can’t be single always!” taehyung says dramatically.

“Do you want to start the same argument we had the last week? Don’t start the same thing taehyung.”

“Why do you sound to serious now, sir?” taehyung asks, sensing the strict voice of the idol.

Jungkook stays silent.

“Sir?” taehyung calls poking jungkook’s shoulder.

“Hm?” jungkook hums.

“Sir?” taehyung again calls, staring at jungkook’s face intensely.

“Hmmm?” jungkook hums again, looking straight to the road.

“Sir laugh.” taehyung says poking jungkook’s shoulder. Jungkook does not show any expression.

“Sir laugh…” taehyung literally whines trying to tickle around jungkook’s neck.

“Don’t do this. I’m driving.” jungkook says, Controlling his smile.

“Sir laaaauggghhhhhh….” taehyung sings like a song and pokes inside jungkook’s ears. And the idol immediately breaks in loud laughter.

“Tae, stop doing this. I’m driving. Both of us will die if we get into any accident.” jungkook says while laughing.

“Sir your front two teeth are slightly bigger. When you laugh, all of your 32 teeth shows up- it looks good.”

“My smile looks good?” jungkook can’t help but ask.

“200% sir!” taehyung says slamming on jungkook’s thigh out of nowhere making jungkook flinch.

“Are you going to charge me for praising my smile?” jungkook asks.

Taehyung stares at him with slightly open mouth. “How do you know sir?” he asks.

Jungkook chuckles loudly. It’s easy for him to guess taehyung’s action now.

“But still your smile is pretty, sir. I swear I’m not lying. Han hyung says i have got the best smile in the earth.” taehyung says.

Jungkook’s ears immediately perks up hearing the unknown name. “Who is han?” he asks.

“Noona’s boyfriend. Your teeth are as white as pearl. What toothpaste do you use sir?” taehyung asks.

“How about you check it yourself when you go to my house next time?” jungkook says.

“I saw your bathroom. It’s bigger than our living room. What do you do in the bathroom sir? Do you sleep there too?”

“You make up all the ridiculous things when you Don’t have anything to say. Why would i sleep on the bathroom. Crazy.”

Jungkook drives aimlessly through the whole city, crosses all the streets, highways to pass the time until taehyung’s sister calls him.

Around 2 and half hours later taehyung’s phone rings showing his sister’s caller id. He receives the call.

“Hello?” taehyung says clearing his throat, he has screamed too much in the name of singing that his throat is sore.

“Where are you? Someone said you left with a man?” jiya asks worriedly.

“I’m with jungkook sir.” taehyung says.

“We need to go home. Come fast.” jiya says before hanging up.
