It was 4:30 in the morning when Dante woke up and saw the most heartwarming scene, his Jaan was sleeping peacefully, one leg draped over his own(Dante’s )Torso ,cheeks squished on his (Dante’s) chest. Looking just like a cute little baby.
Dante didn’t like to leave this cute little bundle of joy but what can he even do? He already has taken leave due to Japan visit and now he cannot afford to skip school ,so he kissed him goodbye and left the house quietly, not before writing a note for Ashvik.

Ashvik woke up at 5:15 due to the missing warmth beside him , he sleepily patted the bed to check but frowned when could not find Dante he sat up straight in his bed , and very cutely mumbled,

Ashvik: (cute angry mumbling) Hmmph..waise toh Dante ki jaan ye .. Dante ki jaan wo karte rehte hai aur subah hote hi bhaag Gaye .. mujhse milkar bhi nhi Gaye meanie.

He went to the Bathroom to do his morning routine after doing his routine he came and noticed a note placed on the only table placed in his room . He picked it up and started reading it

I am sorry jaan, i had go early but I had to submit a assignment but don’t worry….
I will come back soon , eat something warm and don’t forget your medicine okay, love you Jaan I will miss you too much today, I hope this day ends soon (:

He unconsciously started smiling like a crazy person and subconsciously started going towards the lawn to walk for some time as because of Weakness and his bad health he could not go to run in the morning, he was walking in the lawn his earplugs on ,not noticing the shadow figure looming around him , he still had a soft smile plastered on his face because of his love ,

He walked out for almost 1 hour and now he was going to his room to pass the time as he is instructed not to go to school, so he thought of doing something useful so he started painting,
He was so busy in his paintings he didn’t realise the time it was almost 8 he didn’t went for the breakfast, So abhimanyu came to his room so that, he can invite him , he went inside and froze for a second after watching what Ashvik was making, he didn’t made any noise and Ashvik didn’t lock down his door normally, just when Dante comes or he is sad not normally, so he came inside thinking maybe Ashvik is sleeping? He thought of waking Ashvik up , so he went

His painting.

Abhimanyu:- Ashvik come down for breakfast.

Ashvik Flinched hearing his voice and instantly hide the painting he doesn’t like to share his drawing and paintings with his brothers or the matter of fact with anyone,

Ashvik: Good Morning bhai ! , I am coming just two minutes.

Ashvik went downstairs to have his breakfast and saw Armaan already seated their he was about to sit at the far end of the table when Armaan spoke,

Armaan:- Ashvik bubba come and sit here don’t sit so far .

(Author-. Armaan ji being loving much ? Hmm what happened? About your hate ?
Armaan=shut up author I love Ashvik who can hate such an innocent bean for so long ? I know I was an idiot.
Yeah yeah I know stupid! )

Ashvik wanted to refuse but then Decided not to and went to sat beside Armaan to the chair he pointed, he sat when Armaan’s phone rang , Armaan’s whole body tensed up he looked at Abhimanyu, Ashvik was watching how both Armaan and Abhimanyu both had a whole conversation with eyes, Armaan then picked up the phone and listen to what other person was saying his jaw clenched as he listened he was unconsciously digging his own nails into his palm , when the kept the phone aside the tension in the room was so thick that it could be Cut through knife , seeing this Ashvik excused himself and went to kitchen to grab something

Abhimanyu: what happened is everything alright ?

Armaan: No, Dad..he …he was involved in human trafficking in Japan, The shadow sent me an email with linked proof with a weird note with blood smeared across it .

Abhimanyu: What note ?

Armaan: Wait let me show you, I really don’t understand the meaning of this note as I don’t think we know who is his Jaan ?

Armaan: I don’t think he is lying about this .

Abhimanyu: yeah I knew dad changed after Mumma’s death but human trafficking? It’s low even for himself.

Armaan : yeah ! I don’t think I should search or take revenge from The shadow, because after watching that email and proof I even want to kill him with my bare hands.

Abhimanyu: what, and who is His Jaan is he someone We know?

Armaan: I don’t know but whatever small respect I had for him is gone now , he covered everything from us but in proofs I saw a video of their one ware house
He…he was there too.. to many girls and boys most of them were not even 18 tied naked infront of the buyers, their hands and legs were in shackles, many looked injured from many places, they were selling humans as slaves , so many of them looked already dead emotionally , many more things which I can’t even describe, I feel sick to my stomach, it’s great that the shadow saved them , I am grateful for that .
Maybe Someone they abducted is his Jaan as he said ?

Abhimanyu: Hmm , Its okay he got what he deserved it was completely his fault not yours,mine or anyone else. Okay don’t overthink.

Abhimanyu said as he knew Armaan would blame himself for not observing before, but what could he even do when his dad had covered everything so Thoroughly from his sons as he knew his sons is just like his wife, Pure hearted who never hurt innocent people, just criminals.

Soon Ashvik came and sat again,maids served their breakfast and they all ate .

Everyone except Ansh and Sofia were sitting on the table having their food and talking, Dante was chatting with Ashvik in his phone,
Soon Sofia and Ansh came and sat at the table, Ansh looked flustered too flustered and Sofia looked insanely smug like she has done something so great
Luca immediately noticed the Look in Ansh’s face and asked him

Luca : hey you fine ? Are you feeling hot and feverish?

Ansh : No , I..I am fine .

Sofia:(with smirk ) really ? Then why are you looking so red ?

Ansh : it…it’s just weather,yeah weather it is .

Amaira:(sarcastically )February mein konsi garmi ho Rahi Ansh ji ?

Ansh : umm you all sit I want to grab some cold drink , anyone else wants?

He rushed from their after receiving no from everyone.

Sofia recalled the Flashback and a soft smile came to her face after watching Ansh and his cute antics ,

Flashback 🩷

Ansh was sitting in his room head in his hands he was not feeling good, the death of his father had left a deep scar on him ,no matter how he was but to Ansh he was the  Best . Suddenly a girl came and sat across from him he looked up and it was Shanaya, he frowned and asked

Ansh : what are you doing here?

Shanaya: (ugly pout ) Nothing, just wanted to meet you . I was missing you so much,you know you were absent for more than a week .

Ansh : ( with a frown) why were you missing me ? I mean what happened?

Shanaya: (in mind) ughh this boy I am clearly flirting he can’t even understand…whyy

Ansh : heyy are you fine ?

He asked not getting any response from her , Shanaya in response scoots closer to him and held his both hands , Ansh was clearly uncomfortable and tried to take his hand back but her grip was tight ,

Shanaya: (fake sympathy) I am so sorry for your loss Ansh , you know I understand how that feels , I know you must be sad but don’t worry I am here with you.

(AN.- such a pick me, queenbee type Shanaya is )

They both were unaware of the burning eyes  that was watching the whole incident and listening to the conversation, It was Sofia, she hated how Shanaya was actively pursuing Ansh , Ansh and Sofia used to talk through message and memes after the School performance as they talked due to Ashvik after that one day Ansh mistakenly sent a meme to her , he Panicked of her reply but she replied him with more hideous meme , after that day they both talked regularly, slowly Sofia realised how she likes Ansh ,

Sofia came and took Shanaya ‘s hand and firmly and stood up with Ansh and said

Sofia : I am sorry for the disturbance but I need to talk to my friend personally. And yeah no need to bother yourself with anything , I am there for him always.

They both went from there leaving a fuming Shanaya behind,

Sofia held Ansh’s hand and took him to the locker room, she left his hand and pushed him lightly, his backed touching the wall she came and put her both hands on either side of Ansh and spoke dangerously

Sofia: what were you doing with that queen bee ?

Ansh : (gulping hard) Nothing…(Stammering due to closeness) I was just sitting and then she came to talk .

Sofia: so what could not you just tell her to get lost or you like her too  as she likes you ?

Ansh : Ewww no way and I just … didn’t want to be rude . And who said she like me ?

Sofia: (with done expression) Oh really? How can you be so dumb you dummy, ofcourse she likes you .

Ansh : oh i…I didn’t knew.

Sofia: ofcourse you didn’t, okay so from now on just stay away from her okay, promise me .

Ansh : (confused) huh .. yeah I promise.

Sofia backed away from the wall and ruffled his hair and said with a gentle smile ,

Sofia : good boy , now let’s go everyone must be waiting.

She held his hand and left towards the Cafeteria in way she saw Shanaya and waved at her with a very big smile, Shanaya was fuming in Anger , she called out Ansh from behind and he ignored her completely, to which Sofia again patted his head lovingly and said  “I hate her don’t talk to her naa ” Ansh like a lost puppy just nodded his head,soon they were about to reach the cafeteria when she left his hand .
