It seems that the time itself has stopped Ashvik was inside that room from a hour ,  being treated, suddenly a doctor came to talk to Armaan ,

Armaan – how is my brother doctor???

Doctor gulped in fear as he knew who Armaan was and what he was capable of, he (doctor)was too young to die after all

Doctor -I won’t give you false hope as we are trying everything sir but the blood pressure of the patient is very low and his body is not responding to any treatment we are giving right now if this continues then their are high chances that he will go into hypothermic cardiac arrest .

Armaan – (Angrily) If you don’t have any suitable treatment then  what do I pay for here for doing a picnic party ?

Doctor – yes there is one treatment EBR,  Extracorporeal blood rewarming (EBR) is a highly advanced, invasive medical procedure where a patient’s blood is pumped outside their body, passed through a machine that warms and oxygenates it, and then returned to the circulatory system but it’s dangerous too , so for that you have to sign a consent form.

Armaan: (gulping) okay do it , just make sure my brother is fine or else I won’t leave any of you if something happens to him .

Doctor:(scaredly) I would try my best .

Armaan: Good you have to.

After that he signed the form and was waiting outside for any news or Abhimanyu when he received a call ,

Incoming call -Ansh🎀

Ansh : hello Bhai good morning.when will you come back? Me and Ashvik both are missing you and bhaiya .

Armaan:(brokenly) You…and Ashvik?

Ansh : yes bhai ofcourse see I have not gone downstairs till now but I know he is missing you too.

Hearing this Armaan started crying again, making Ansh scared as hell ,

Ansh : bhai bhai what happened? Why are you crying please tell me bhai ?

Armaan: Ashvik .. Ashvik is in the hospital.

Ansh : what how ? Is he okay? is everything? okay please tell me everything Bhai you are scaring me. !!!!!

After that he told everything to Ansh who was a crying mess at the end and was coming to the hospital.

Ansh Started going downstairs, when his father spotted him and smiled at his direction,

Kabeer: Ah my baby you woke up , Good Morning Ansh .

Ansh : (shouted) how dare you?

Kabeer: what ?

Ansh: (yelled ) how dare you do it to Ashvik?

Kabeer: tsk tsk so now you care about that bastard.

Ansh : stop it, just stop I would not hear a single word against my brother,pray to God that he will be fine or else !!!!

He left from there when his father was fuming in anger because Ansh not only misbehaved with him but also, threatened him too , just because of Ashvik .

Ansh reached to the hospital and ran towards the ICU ward, he went there and saw Armaan sitting outside the ICU holding his head in his hands , he went there and sat beside him no one was talking, suddenly Armaan spoke breaking the silence,

Armaan: You ..you know after everything I did , he …he still bought Cookies on my birthday from  my favourite  place, that too with his own money, just because I once mentioned it carelessly infront of him.

Ansh : I know Bhai he is a Angel.

Armaan: but but we hurt him so much so why ? Why does he always do so much why do he care ?

Ansh : he is always like that bhai , he loves you and all of us even if we treat him like trash .

Armaan : I am scared , they made me sign that stupid consent form but . but I know nothing will happen to him right?

Ansh didn’t answered he stood up and looked at the small window of ICU from which Ashvik was visible, so small ,pale and fragile in that hospital bed , his face had bruises telling the story of cruelty he went through,

After sometime the doctor came rushing,

Doctor – .the patient his heart stopped…..
