It was hot.
It was flipping hot, if I may say so. And you know what that means–
Well, I know what that means. I don’t know if this is just me but does hot weather make you as excited as it makes me? Like.. I don’t know. It just has that effect on me.
So I was in bed. No pants on, doing.. the deed. You know? Pleasing myself, if you will. And.. I did what I always did: I grabbed a magazine, some tissues and lotion and did what I had to do. But none of the ladies on the magazine could satisfy me. They couldn’t bring out the roar of the beast in me. It all came as a soft, sweet meow. So I did the unthinkable: I thought of the one person that had occupied my mind for weeks and weeks on end. The purest, most innocent person in the world. The person that I one thousand percent should not be thinking about while doing this. But it couldn’t be helped.
I thought of Mica.
I imagined kissing his perfect lips. Running my fingers through his soft hair, touching every part of his body and him moaning of pleasure because of it.
“James…” He moaned in my head. “It’s so good!”
I closed my eyes as the ecstasy rushed through me. He was the only person that called me by my full name and it turned me on like no tomorrow. It made me feel special.
I picked up the pace and it worked so well to think of him. It was like I couldn’t stop. Like I’d never run out of situations to picture him in or things I’d want him to say.
“Don’t stop..” he whispered as I continued to make love to him in my mind.
Out of nowhere my phone started ringing.
I was immediately pissed at whoever was calling me. Hello? A little busy, here?!
I grabbed my phone, ready to press decline but then I saw the person calling was none other than Mica himself.
“SHIT!” I screamed. I couldn’t decline! That would be rude! But I was naked and my hands were dirty and I wasn’t ready to stop yet.
I’ll just decline and tell him I slipped or something.
I quickly tried to press decline but my finger slipped and I accidentally clicked accept. And what was worse: This was a video call.
CRAP.
In a split second I covered my body with the sheets.
Mica’s lovely face appeared on my phone. He smiled when he saw me. I couldn’t help but smile back.
Mica frowned. “Are you still in bed?”
CRAP! I looked at the clock. It was literally three in the afternoon.
“Uh- yeah. I went for a nap.” I laughed sheepishly.
“Oh, did I wake you up?” Mica asked concerned.
“No! Not at all!”
“Okay, good.”
Mica’s flushed cheeks made my body tingle. I looked down at the tent in the sheets.
Oh God, this was so embarrassing.
“It’s so hot today, isn’t it?”
Oh no, he was making small talk! Could he have picked a worse moment?
“Yeah. Very. Very hot.” I said awkwardly.
Mica seemed confused. I guess he was picking up on my strange demeanor.
I wish I could explain things but that would only make things worse!
The door to my room banged open, giving me the shock of my life.
I screamed loudly.
Riley burst into the room with a huge smile on her face.
“RILEY! GET OUT!” I yelled.
“Hell no. Your dad said I could stay. What are you doing?” She frowned.
I turned red as a tomato.
I took a quick glance at Mica.
“Is Riley there?” He smiled, completely oblivious to the situation.
I looked back at her.
Riley laid eyes on my tissues and lotion. Then she looked at the sheets. Her eyes widened.
“Crap!” I pulled the blankets closer. “This is not what it looks like!”
“ARE YOU JACKING OFF?!” She said so loud there was no way Mica couldn’t hear it.
I was dying of shame.
“Who are you calling? A cam girl?” Riley came further into the room.
“GET OUT!” I yelled.
Riley simply ignored my wishes for privacy and sat next to me on the bed.
Her eyes widened and her mouth fell open as she laid eyes on my phone.
She gave me a shocked look before watching the phone again.
“Hey Mica…” She said sheepishly.
“H-hi..” He said awkwardly. His eyes darted left and right and he seemed about just as embarrassed as I was.
“I didn’t know you guys were..” Riley looked from me to my phone. “But, hey, I don’t judge.” She said quickly.
“What?” Mica said.
Oh no, this was only getting worse!
“NO! THAT’S NOT WHAT’S GOING ON AT ALL!” I exclaimed, completely humiliated.
“Then why were you-” Riley pointed at the tissues and lotion.
“SHUT UP!” I screamed.
“Jeez..” Riley crossed her arms.
“D-do you want me to call back another time?”
“Yes!” I screamed while Riley screamed “No!” At the same time.
“WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!” I yelled.
“ANYTHING YOU GUYS TALK ABOUT YOU CAN TALK ABOUT IN FRONT OF ME!” Riley insisted as she snatched my phone out of my hand.
I wanted to strangle her! Why was she so nosy?!
I hadn’t realized the door to my room was wide open until my brother came in.
“What’s all the ruckus about?” He complained sleepily.
His eyes widened at the scene before him.
Me, naked in bed, Riley next to me, lotion and tissues in hand reach, us talking to someone on the phone… Oh no.
“HOLY SHIT!” He yelled.
I was done. It was over. I had died of shame.
I disappeared under the covers.
“I KNEW IT! I KNEW YOU GUYS WERE BANGING!” He exclaimed excitedly.
“WE’RE NOT!” Riley and I screamed simultaneously.
I got up from under the covers.
“Then what are you..” Kyle came towards the bed. He stopped in his tracks when he laid eyes on my phone. I groaned in shame.
“Oh, hey Mica.” He sounded shocked.
“H-hi.” Mica stammered.
“So… You guys are having a three-way, huh?”
I began to cry internally.
“RILEY HANG UP, PLEASE!” I begged.
“Uhm.. see you later Mica.” Riley said. I heard the beep of the phone.
How could I ever talk to him normally again? He knew I was a monster now. He knew of the lion side of me. The side that had to get off. I was sure he never did. He was too controlled and elegant. He was probably shocked that guys like me existed.
“AAHHHHH!” I screamed under the blankets.
Riley caressed my back.
“Did you just..?” Kyle started.
“BOTH OF YOU GET OUT. NOW!”

I turned up at an adorable little bakery the next day. Mica wasn’t completely disgusted with me because he’d still texted me what he’d called for earlier. I was so embarrassed. I was going to explain everything to him.
I rarely ever came to this side of town. Most of the stores here were small boutiques that were way above my money spending league. We had come here to try some cake options for Riley’s birthday.
I spotted Mica sitting on the vintage street bench in front of the bakery. He got up and smiled when he saw me.
Today Mica wore a dusted pink sweater with some off-white shorts and some all stars that matched his sweater. Why did he look so cute? Was it even legal to look this adorable all the time? Why would he do that? It’s not like he wore things most guys wore, no it was all explicitly cute.
“Ready to taste some pies?” Mica said cheerfully. He was like an anime girl. His whole attitude, clothes… everything. Honestly, no one could blame me for having a teeny tiny crush on him. Anyone would.
“Totally!” I tried to match his enthusiasm. Not that I wasn’t excited to stuff my face with cakes, I was just nervous being around him after what’d happened yesterday.
Mica turned to go inside the bakery and I grabbed his arm. “Wait,”
Mica met my gaze.
“About yesterday..”
Mica looked down at the ground and his cheeks burned up.
“I wasn’t.. I wouldn’t…” Why couldn’t I just TALKKK?
“I wasn’t doing that while we were talking. It was just… Before. And then you called and.. I- I’m really sorry about how things went down…”
“Yeah. I figured something like that.” He chuckled. “It’s fine. I promise I’ll forget it happened.”
Charming as ever. How I loved him for this!
“Thank you!”
I followed Mica into the cute little bakery. We both said hello to the owners.
I sat at the table while Mica ordered a sample of every single pie flavor they had.
I looked over at him. He was leaning on the counter and my eyes couldn’t help but wander to his legs. They were toned and shiny.
Oh God, no. Not this again. Just after I’d regained a little bit of honor.
I ripped my eyes away from him and pinched myself in an effort to calm down.
“Ta-da!” Mica came back with a tray full of pie samples. Each a different color.
“Wow!”
“They all look so good, huh?” Mica said happily as he placed the tray on the table. “Which should we taste first?” Mica asked as he sat next to me.
“How about this one?” I pointed to a red velvet looking one.
Mica handed me a fork. We both dug right in. “Oh, it’s so good!” Mica said.
Oh no. I was reminded of yesterday. He’d said the exact same thing in my fantasy.
I started to cough intensely as I choked on my food.
Mica put his fork down. “James, are you okay?” Mica asked wide-eyed. He held my shoulder. His touch only made things worse.
“I’ll get you some water!” Mica got up and went back to the counter.
Stop it, Jay! Act normal! Why are you like this?!
Mica rushed back and handed me a glass of water. I began to chug it down, all the while Mica held his hand on my back and watched me with worry.
I’d drunk down the choking hazard. Oh, I was so embarrassed.
“Better?” Mica asked.
“Yeah.” I smiled. “Thanks.”
“You should eat slower.” Mica smiled lovingly.
Now it was like we were a married couple and he was my wife or something.
When had my thoughts turned into this?
I really wanted to kiss him. I wanted to know what that would feel like. Ugh! Not now!
“Ready for the next one?”

We’d tasted over 15 different flavors and we were both super full.
“I can’t taste anything anymore! I’m so full!” Mica complained.
“Me too!” I settled in my seat. It was then that I noticed Mica had some creme on his face.
I chuckled.
“What is it?” Mica asked.
I couldn’t help myself.
With my thumb I wiped the cream off Mica’s lips.
“Last bite.” I said holding my thumb out to him.
He sighed and gave me a look. Then he leaned in and sucked the whipped cream off my thumb. This little moment should not make me feel this way but it did. My body tingled and I could feel my cheeks burning up.
Mica licked his lips. “Is it gone?”
“Yep.” I said cheerfully.
“So which one would Riley like the most?” Mica asked.
“The chocolate. Hands down.”
“Alright. I’ll go ask if they can make it into a football.” Mica got up and went to the counter.
I stared at my thumb.

“I haven’t been this full in ages!” Mica sighed as we walked across the street in the golden hour sunset.
“I know what you mean. Me neither.” I chuckled.
When we reached my bike I realized this meant saying goodbye. Ugh, I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to be around Mica forever.
“I could give you a ride. I’ll go really slowly and spare your stomach.” I offered.
“Really?” His eyes gleamed with excitement.
“Sure.” I chuckled.
“I’d love that. Thank you.”
“Hey, no problem.” I unlocked my bike and got on.
Mica sat behind me and wrapped his gentle arms around my waist. Every little touch from him gave me butterflies.
As we rode through the cooling air Mica hummed a little melody. It was completely relaxing.
He leaned against my back and held on tight.
“Mica?”
“Yeah?”
“Do you think we could maybe hang out off birthday duty sometimes? Just like.. catch a movie or something?”
There was a short silence before he answered. “I’d love that.”
I smiled to myself. The idea of spending more time with Mica than just once a week made really happy.
I pulled up at Mica’s haunting yet beautiful house.
We both got off the bike.
“Thanks for the ride.” Mica smiled.
“Anytime.” I shrugged.
Mica and I shared a short glance that felt like an eternity before Mica suddenly crashed into my arms. I immediately wrapped my arms round him and we held each other in a loving embrace.
I smelled his hair. I was such a weirdo but I couldn’t not do it. He smelled so good.
I opened my eyes and noticed someone inside the house was watching us. I couldn’t see too well but I thought it was Mica’s dad. How creepy!
“I’ll see you later.” Mica said.
“Yeah.” I agreed, looking from him to the figure in the window.
I watched Mica go down the path to his house. The door opened and he was met by none other than his creepy dad.
We locked eyes before the cold man closed the door behind Mica.
