Listening the news Abhimanyu and Armaan looked like they might throw up, their face was pale like whole colour has been drained out of them , they both looked at Ashvik for any kind of reaction but his face was blank like he didn’t even registered what happened, Armaan suddenly went to bring Ansh back as he didn’t wanted him to have a breakdown infront of whole school and he has to be there for his brother, while Abhimanyu received a call from a agent in Japan about his Father, and Ashvik silently slipped away to his own room , he was feeling nothing not sorrow no Loss and definitely no grief he was just feeling empty, after trying for all these years he really didn’t feel anything now about the man who was supposed to be his father,he never was a father to him , just a person who provided for him who did the bare minimum for him but controlled and punished him more .
Agent : Mr . Goenka I am sorry to inform you that your father is no more , he has been murdered in his own apartment. We cannot find the culprit but you can help us to find out who it was as the murder looked personal.
Abhimanyu: ye… yess, how…can I help you?
Agent: can you tell us about someone who had a grudge against your father, and how he knew “The shadow” .
Abhimanyu: I am sorry but I really don’t know about anything and…the the body can we get that for last rites ?
Agent: I am really sorry sir you should host the Last rites without the body because it’s not in recognisable condition . The damage is severe but if you want we can Provide the body or if not then the ashes after cremation.
Abhimanyu: Oh..hh okay.Ashes is fine with us if that’s the case .

Ansh froze after hearing this then broke down crying with Armaan , Abhimanyu was Watching his both brothers crying, some tears left his eyes too because no matter what happens he still was there father, no matter what he did he still didn’t deserves to be killed according to them, because Adults make bad choices right? Dante didn’t said anything just hugged Ashvik tightly like being afraid as if he will fade if not held tightly enough.
