Chapter 25

“Hello?”

“Earth… We need to talk.”

“Art? Why are you calling me? I thought we handled that problem?”

“No, He… He told me something that is very important. Something I didn’t know before…”

“And what is that?”

“He said… He said he loves you… And that the only reason why his not trying to get you back was because…”

“Art what are you saying?”

“Techno’s pregnant…”

“But I already knew of this… Art what game are you playing now?”

“Do you like it? It’s the new plan I have and you’re going to help me again.”

“Art, I already did my part… Did it not work?”

“No, he somehow found out about Techno’s pregnancy and it is all his thinking about.”

“How did he find out?”

“I don’t know… I thought I solved it but…”

“But what?”

“Never mind… I need help.”

“How am I helping you this time?”

“The story I told you just now… About how he his not with you because of the baby… I want Techno to hear it from you.”

“Oh? How will this get you what you want?”

“If Techno thinks that his nothing but an anchor holding Kengkla down then he will by all means cut himself out of Kengkla’s life.”

“How sure are you of that?”

“I know men like Techno… He’ll definitely want nothing to do with Kla after he hears this.”

Technic keep his mind on his brother as the car to numerous tunes as they go closer and closer to their destination. As the car went of a speed bump Technic looked over to Kengkla.

“Are you here for something business related?”

Kengkla not expecting Technic to speak was a bit shocked by his words. “Uhm, no…”

“Then why are you here?”

“I actually… I dropped your brother off”

Technic’s eyes grew large. “You dropped him off? Are you aware of the state his in? Why didn’t you take him to the hospital instead of bringing him here… Do you know what’s wrong with him?”

Kengkla was overwhelmed by the questions that Technic was throwing at him. He guessed that Techno didn’t tell his brother anything leaving Technic to panic.

Kengkla thought about it for a moment. He didn’t want to be the one to tell Techno’s baby brother what was happening with him.

He wasn’t sure if  Techno would be happy with that… So he came up with something.

“I only picked him up from the hospital and brought him here… He said he was alright… What happened?” Kengkla pretend to not know what was happening.

“I don’t know as well… He just came in and collapsed. He claimed he was fine and this it’s just him being dizzy but I feel like there is more to it.”

Technic looked out the window as they approached the clinic. “We’re here… Just park right here. Thanks for the ride.”

Kengkla nodded. “I’ll wait for you…”

“You don’t have to do that, I have enough money now to take myself back.”

“I’ll wait for you.”

Technic closed the door and went on his way not wanting to argue with kengkla. After all the gyt was trying to help him.

His trip didn’t take to long and minutes he was returning to the car with an average sized box.

Technic reentered the car and they made their way back. As they approached the apartment, Kengkla turned to Technic.

“You think I can come up and see him?”

Technic while unbuckling his seat belt answered. “Sure…”

They existed the car and made it up. Technic opened the door and found Tay still seated on the chair near where Techno lay.

“Your back…”

“Yea… I came with Kengkla… He was downstairs the entire time. His the one who brought him over.”  Technic’s tone was not suggesting anything but Tay got up from his seat.

“You left him down there? Like this?”

“He… He didn’t want me to come up. I wanted to, I tried but…”

“Tay, can you leave him alone? He drove me to the clinic. If it wasn’t for him then I’d still be trying to make it in time.” Technic said as he worked on waking his brother up.

“Did he wake up while I was gone?”

Tay looked away from Kengkla… “No… He did move through.”

Technic nodded and continued to brush his brothers hair back.

Kengkla stood to the side and watched. He wanted so badly to take over the situation and do things the way he wanted but Techno had made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with him, so doing that would only. Anger him more…

Techno slowly began waking up with heavy eyes. His dizziness was better but his head bow hurt. He still even after that nap… Wanted to sleep.

Technic quickly put the box in front of him. “I brought them… Which ones should I give you?”

Techno looked down into the box failing to notice the foreign figure to the back.

“This one… And this one.”

Technic looked up at his brother in shock. “That’s it?”

Techno slightly pushed him away as his voice a bit to loud for him. “Yes… It’s what I need now. Just… Get me some water…”

Technic didn’t protest any longer and got up from his position to get a glass of water. This sudden shift in body’s allowed Techno’s view to be wide open.

He looked straight at Kengkla. “What is he doing here? What are you doing in here?”

Tay looked back to Kengkla as the question was directed to him.

From the kitchen Technic still  defended Kengkla. “He offered to take me to the clinic… His the reason I was able to get back to you in a short amount of time.”

Techno keep his eyes on kengkla even when Technic walked up to him with the glass of water. “Here… Drink up.”

Techno did what he was told. After taking his medication he sat up straight, planning on getting up to go to his room.  “Okay… Thanks for doing that kengkla but now you need to leave.”

Kengkla unconsciously took a few steps forward as he predicted Techno’s moves.

Techno proceed to push himself forward as he readied himself to stand. As if predicting the future, Kengkla took another step forward and was able to quickly react when Techno began to stumble.

Tay who was also close wasn’t fast enough to get to Techno. He watched as Kengkla held Techno by his waist.

“I was going to take him to the bedroom… This couch isn’t comfortable…”

Kengkla understood the instruction and went to pick Techno up bridal style. Technic pointed to the door and helped open it.

Once Techno was placed down he immediately pushed Kengkla away. “Leave…”

“P’… His worried about you too.” Technic who was standing behind Kengkla didn’t understand why his brother was now so against Kengkla.

“Nic… Get out.”

Technic rolled his eyes and left. He didn’t know exactly what was happening but he would make sure his brother was okay.

Kengkla went to sit on the bed and pulled Techno in for a hug. It was awkward considering the way Techno was laying. Including that Techno trying pushing Kengkla away. “Don’t touch me…”

But Kengkla kept trying until he drained out the energy Techno had. He was now to tired to push him away.

“Am not leaving… Am gonna sit here with you. We don’t have to talk… We can talk later but for now, I just want to hold you.”

Techno let out a sigh. He hadn’t expected this but he didn’t hate it. It made him feel… Love. A different kind from that he has for his brother or his grandfather.

” Will you let me… Just hold you? Can I do that?”

Techno closed his eyes as his pain slowly began to fade and a warmth grew in his stomach. With his eyes closed he hummed a yes to which a smile grew on Kengkla’s face as he got himself in a more comfortable position to lay with Techno.
