[ Don’t do anything stupid! ]

Earth read Tay’s message before getting out of the car to stand in front of Kla’s home. Now that he was here he felt nervous. There was something that broke in him when he realized that Kla had moved out of their old home and bought a new one. He now wondered what was of his old home.

Pushing those thoughts aside he pulled out his phone and called Art.

“Am out side.” No greetings and no goodbyes. Art hung up as soon as he heard the three words.

Slipping his phone back into his pocket he waited. Lucky for him, the wait wasn’t long.

The large wooden doors opened and a male with similar hightness walked towards him. He took a wild guess and thought he was Art.

“Am happy you decided on coming. Please follow me.” Art lead Earth into the large home.

They didn’t walk too far when they reached a glass double door. Art opened it and lead Earth inside. “Wait here… He will arrive soon.”

When Art turned to leave, Earth stopped him.
“What exactly should I say?”

Art raised his eyebrows. “I don’t know… Maybe that you miss him or that your sorry. Look I have something I need to attend and he’ll be here soon so I need to leave.”

Earth let Art leave. He stood alone in the room. His eyes swept around and identified it to be a conference room. They never had one in their old home.

Art meet kla in his office. “It’s ready.”

“How’s Techno doing?  Kla’s mind went trailing straight to Techno.

“His, fine. I was just about to go check up on him. No need to worry. The team will be arriving soon so I suggest you get down to the conference room before they do.”

Kla nodded. He trusted Art with Techno. He knew he had to get this work done, when he finished he would send the whole day with Techno. Comforting him in anyway possible.

“Alright then…” Kla made his way out first, leaving Art behind. He made it to the second dinning room that he decided to turn in to a conference room for large group meetings like the one he was going to hold. These men would be the ones to attend the Brazil event for him.

He held the documents under his arm and went to open the door. Stepping in he noticed that the room wasn’t empty.

When Kla’s eyes meet Earth’s, time stood still. All he could see was Earth. Everything suddenly didn’t matter. His world was once again in color.

Kla didn’t take his eyes off Earth and in this way he made an unspoken promise to reconnect and go back to how they used to be. This fantasy didn’t last long as Earth pulled a sad smile and turned his head towards the ground and in doing so breaking eye contact and the promise.

“Aren’t you going to say anything?” Earth’s soft voice fills the room.

Kla’s ears turn warm from the sound. “What do you want me to say?”  His lips broke apart. He placed the worksheets on the table and took a few steps towards Earth. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. After 2  years of heart ache… Only now did he return to him.

Earth was nervous. He knew that kla would still be affected by what happened two years ago. His heart still hurt. There were moments where he wanted to come back and be held by him but he couldn’t deal with his work life and how it kept them apart.

“I don’t know. Something like ‘long time’ or ‘why now?’  maybe ‘where have you been’.
Earth still kept his eyes away from Kla’s.

Kla suddenly extended his arms toward Earth, he held him close to his chest. Cupping his neck with his right hand. Taking deep inhales and exhales he caught Earth’s natural scent which he had once longed for.
“Do you still love me?” Kla’s whisper scared Earth. He closed his eyes and thought about it. “Yes – I still love you.” His words make Kengkla hug him a little harder.

“And you, Do you still love me?” It was Earth’s turn to ask and unlike him, Kla didn’t have to think about it… His mouth just opened. “No…”

This answer made Earth pull back from the hug. He looked Kla deep in the eyes. “What?”

“You asked me if I still love you and I said No…”  Kla spoke without emotion. His words hit Earth hard leaving his heart cold after.

He pushed his hair back trying to understand what Kla had just said.

“Is this why you came? You want to know if I still loved you?”

“Uhm… no…. No I… How come?” Earth carried a frown.

“Excuse me?”

“Why don’t you love me anymore? Why did you stop?” Earth was shocked with himself. This wasn’t what he came here for but his brain couldn’t handle the fact that he had kept Kengkla in his heart for 2 years yet he had thrown him away.

“You left me… What did you expect to happen?”

Earth didn’t accept it. “No… We loved each other… We loved each other deeply. I know you had people looking for me, how can you say you don’t love me?”

Kengkla let his head fall. He hated seeing Earth this way. It hit something inside him. He extended his arm and pulled Earth in for a hug again. “I didn’t want to stop loving you, believe me but it just happened.”

Earth was now crying. “How?” He really couldn’t come to terms with what was happening.

“I meet someone… Someone that was able to cure my illness… My forever longing for you. He stopped it.”

Earth looked up at kla. “You love him?”

Complicated question. Kla found no words. He looked deep into Earth’s eyes and finally found the strength to answer him… In the from of a nod.

Earth backed up, putting distance between them. He should have expected this but when Art told him that Kla had been looking for him all this time he thought that maybe… Just maybe he wanted what they once had. But no… It turns out that he has moved on.

“It does not mean that I stopped caring about you…” kengkla’s hand yet again reached out to Earth but he wasn’t having any of it.

“Don’t… I don’t need your pity. Am sorry for coming here… Shouldn’t have.” Earth walked out in a second.

He left Kla alone to wonder on how Earth found his new home and why did he decide to come back now? Most importantly, he began wondering about Techno and if what he wants to start will end just like how he and Earth did.

Techno was in a completely  dazzled state. The pills that Dim had given him made him slip in and out of sleep.

The door opened and a figure emerged. Techno in his state couldn’t see who it was be he knew someone was now standing near the bed.

“How you feeling?” Art’s voice entered Techno’s ears while he placed a array of food and drinks on the small desk near the bed.

“I feel… Uncomfortable.” Techno answered with his eyes closed.

“Here eat this and drink a bit of that.” Art helped Techno sit up.

“No… I don’t want it.” Techno refused what ever came close to his face.

“Kla told me to give this to you… Are you refusing his order?”

Techno looked at the food. It didn’t smell right. It had a hint of a metallic scent. The drink was worse but he didn’t want to go against Art, especially if Kla sent him.

“Fine…”

He agreed to eat and drink the beverage. Art stayed to make sure he ate it all. When Techno was done he went back to sleeping.

Art took the dishes and left the room to go to the kitchen. When he was about to place them down in the sink he noticed that the cup still had some sediment from the abortion pills he crushed and added to the drink. Afraid of being discovered he washed the dishes himself.
